Before buying Zelda merchandise online, check the exact item’s materials and care instructions, compare its measurements with a similar item you own, look for Nintendo’s licensing seal where applicable, and read the return policy of the seller taking your payment. Nintendo’s 30-day return policy covers qualifying physical products bought directly from its US or Canadian online store; it does not apply to purchases from other retailers.
Check the exact item’s materials and care instructions
Look for fiber percentages and washing instructions on the product page rather than relying on a broad label such as “hoodie” or “shirt.” Materials and care can vary even between Zelda garments, and the fiber mix alone does not tell you how an item will feel or fit.
For example, Nintendo’s listing for the Tears of the Kingdom Hoodie identifies Sportiqe as the manufacturer and lists the fabric as 50% polyester, 38% cotton, and 12% rayon, along with care instructions. The Tears of the Kingdom Long Sleeve T-Shirt, also identified as made by Sportiqe, is listed as 50% polyester, 25% cotton, and 25% rayon, with its own care instructions. Use the specifications for the particular item you plan to buy; these details do not establish the materials of other Zelda apparel.
Compare measurements, not just letter sizes
Sizes such as M or XL are not enough to establish that two different garments will fit alike. Check the measurements published for the exact product, then compare them with a garment you already own that fits the way you want.

- For a hoodie or shirt, compare body length and chest width.
- For a long-sleeve garment, check sleeve length too if the listing provides it.
- Confirm that the chart applies to the specific product and the size you intend to order.
Nintendo’s hoodie chart lists body length and chest width for sizes XS through 3XL. Its separate long-sleeve shirt chart lists body length, chest width, and sleeve length for XS through 3XL. The different measurement sets are a reason to use each item’s own chart, not to transfer measurements or assumptions between products.
Check licensing and the seller
Nintendo says licensed merchandise such as apparel, toys, and bedding displays the Official Nintendo Licensed Product Seal. Its support page advises: “Always look for this seal when buying video game systems, accessories, and related products.” Check the product and packaging for the seal where applicable, and review who is selling the item. A marketplace title or product image alone does not establish that a listing is official. Nintendo also says unlicensed products do not go through its evaluation process.

Return terms belong to the retailer that sold the item. Before ordering, find the policy and check its deadline, eligible condition, exclusions, return-shipping cost, refund method, and geographic limits. Do not assume Nintendo’s terms apply to a purchase from another retailer or a marketplace seller.

For physical products bought directly from Nintendo Store
Nintendo’s US and Canadian online store policy allows returns or exchanges within 30 days after delivery for qualifying physical products. The item must remain in original condition. The policy excludes items that are opened or unsealed, have tags removed, are used, damaged or incomplete, or otherwise are not in original condition. It also excludes digital items and purchases made somewhere other than Nintendo Store.
Nintendo generally does not refund shipping unless the item it supplied was damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered. Qualifying credits are applied to the original payment method and may take up to two billing cycles to appear. These are Nintendo Store policy terms, not universal rules for Zelda merchandise.
