Then install the released version, sign in to the right game account and server, and check the game’s reward or mail screens. Pre-registration does not guarantee the same reward flow in every game: Google Play rewards are optional, while an Apple App Store pre-order is distinct from any gift a publisher may offer.
1. Check that you qualified for this game’s offer
Find the game publisher’s official announcement and terms for the specific reward. Check the eligibility details, including:
- Which store or platform the offer applied to.
- Which countries or territories were included.
- The registration dates and any campaign deadline.
- Whether the offer required a milestone, a particular game account, or a specific server.
- Whether you need to install or launch the game before the reward can be distributed.
Registering with a store does not by itself prove that you met every campaign condition. For example, Activision’s terms for a Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile promotion specify territory and account-registration eligibility and condition reward availability on launch and distribution. Those are terms for that promotion, not rules for other games: Activision Terms of Use.
2. Understand what the store registration did—and did not—promise
Google Play
Google Play pre-registration rewards are optional. A developer must configure a reward and support its delivery in the game. Google describes the reward as a free, one-time product for users who select Pre-register; examples include an in-game item, a special character, or a currency pack. The game’s offer terms determine who qualifies and how the reward is delivered: Google Play Console Help: Build awareness for your app or game with pre-registration.

Google’s developer guidance says that “failure to deliver pre-registration rewards to users may result in suspension of your app from the Play Store.” That requirement is directed at developers; it does not establish a universal delivery time or tell players where a particular game places the reward.
Apple App Store
An App Store pre-order and a publisher’s in-game gift are not the same thing. Apple says in-app purchases themselves are not eligible for pre-order. A game publisher may separately offer a gift, such as an exclusive item or free currency, under its own offer and instructions: Apple: Offering your apps for pre-order and Apple: Freemium business model.

So, if you pre-ordered on Apple’s store, look for a separate announcement or terms from the game publisher confirming that a gift was offered and explaining its eligibility and claim method.
3. Confirm the game has launched in your region
A pre-registration page or announcement does not necessarily mean the production version is available in your territory. Google says users who pre-registered are notified after the game is published to production; eligible devices may also install it automatically. The notification or auto-install is not the reward itself: Google Play Console Help: Build awareness for your app or game with pre-registration.

If the game has not launched where you are, check the publisher’s official channels for a release announcement or regional availability update before troubleshooting in-game delivery.
4. Install the official release and check the right account
- Install or update the game from the official store to the released version.
- Open the game and sign in with the game account associated with the offer, if the terms specify one.
- Select the server or region where you expect the reward, if the game asks you to choose one.
- Check the publisher’s instructions for any required first launch, account linking, or claim step.
If you have a test version installed, mention that when contacting support. Google notes that users who already have a test version installed will not receive the pre-registration push notification. That notification detail does not establish whether the reward itself was granted.

5. Look in the game’s likely delivery locations
Use the game’s own instructions first. If they do not name a location, check the in-game mailbox or reward inbox, event or rewards screen, and any claim prompt. These are practical places to look, not a guaranteed platform-wide delivery flow; the publisher controls where a particular game displays its reward.
6. Contact the game publisher if it is still missing
Use the game’s official support channel, linked from its store listing or publisher website. Include enough detail for support to check eligibility and delivery:

- Game title and platform or store.
- Player ID, game account, and server or region.
- The store account used to pre-register or pre-order, described without sharing its password.
- Approximate registration date and any available registration confirmation or receipt.
- The reward offer you expected and the official terms or announcement, if available.
- Which checks you completed, including installation of the released version and the in-game locations you checked.
Do not post passwords, account credentials, or one-time verification codes publicly or send them to anyone claiming to be support. The support address and any delivery wait time depend on the game; there is no universal delay window established for these rewards.
