Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) runs the Japan campaign, drawing and result notices; Sony Marketing handles sales and shipping after a winner places an order. The next step depends on that distinction.
Check the campaign dates and your account before treating a missing email as a failed result
For PlayStation Japan’s named 2026 campaign, applications close October 7, 2026 at 23:59 Japan time. Result emails are scheduled to begin around October 26, and selected applicants must complete purchase by November 2, 2026 at 11:59. These dates apply to this campaign only; check the official campaign notice for any current update.

Results go to the email address registered to the Sony account used to apply. Check that address is current, search spam and filtered mail, and follow the campaign’s instruction to allow messages from @email.playstation.com. The notice cautions that carrier email addresses and iCloud may fail to receive the message. If you linked your account with LINE, check LINE as well.
If you need help with the application, drawing process or result notice, contact PlayStation Customer Support through the campaign page. The notice says support cannot disclose the lottery result in response to an inquiry.

If you won but cannot complete checkout
Use the dedicated purchase page with the same Sony account you used to apply, and confirm the deadline has not passed. The campaign says browser settings may prevent the purchase page from opening; its suggested workaround is to wait and try another browser. Contact support for process assistance if the issue continues, but the notice does not promise a deadline extension or reinstatement.
If your PS5 Pro lottery order is canceled or marked invalid
Save the order confirmation, cancellation message and screenshots of the relevant account or order status. Compare what happened with the campaign’s stated invalidation grounds:
- Missing the winner purchase deadline.
- False registration details or an application made with resale intent.
- Requesting an address change after ordering, forwarding, or pickup at a delivery depot.
- Another reason Sony considers reasonable under the campaign terms.
The notice says Sony may invalidate an application, win or order without individually notifying the applicant or explaining the reason. Ask the sales and shipping contact, Sony Marketing, to confirm the order status and explain the refund method and timing if payment was taken. The campaign notice does not specify a refund schedule for a completed order canceled by the seller.
If your PS5 Pro order is delayed
The campaign says Sony Store ships within Japan after purchase processing and preparation are complete, and warns that purchase timing can delay delivery. Its notice states: 「ご購入手続きのタイミングによって配送が遅れる可能性がございます。あらかじめご了承ください。」 It does not set a fixed arrival date.

Check the order status and any delivery estimate, then contact the seller in writing. For an online order in Japan that has not arrived, the National Consumer Affairs Center advises checking the seller’s contact information and setting a reasonable deadline for delivery. If the item still has not arrived by that deadline, request cancellation and a refund. Keep the request and the reply. This consumer guidance does not determine the outcome of a specific dispute with Sony or another seller.

- Keep a record. Save the order confirmation, delivery estimate, tracking information, screenshots, cancellation notices and all messages.
- Follow the seller’s cancellation process. Make the request in writing where possible and retain proof that it was sent.
- Contact the marketplace if you bought through one. Ask about its complaint process and any buyer-protection policy; the result is not guaranteed.
- For a card payment, contact the card issuer promptly if you cannot reach the seller. The National Consumer Affairs Center advises keeping screenshots and communications when seeking help from the issuer.
- Call Japan’s consumer hotline at 188 if the matter remains unresolved. It refers callers to a local consumer affairs center.
What the 2026 Japan campaign covers
The campaign concerns the PlayStation 5 Pro, model CFI-7100B01, listed with a 2TB SSD and a suggested retail price of 137,980 yen, tax included. Eligibility includes residence in Japan, a Japan-registered Sony account, linked My Sony and sign-in IDs, and at least 60 total hours of PS4 and/or PS5 gameplay during the stated eligibility window: September 27, 2024 through September 27, 2026 at 23:59. Winners purchase through a dedicated Sony Store page; listed payment methods are credit card, Rakuten Pay, PayPay and Merpay.
These rules and dates belong to this particular Japan campaign, not every retailer lottery or PS5 Pro purchase. For an application or draw issue, contact PlayStation Customer Support; for purchase processing and shipping, the campaign identifies Sony Marketing as responsible.
