Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallOutdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down
One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchIf a weapon upgrade seems missing in Hellraiser: Revival, first determine whether you already own the attachment or never collected the item. An owned attachment is installed from the inventory: select it, choose a compatible firearm, and confirm. An item absent from the inventory requires checking the current objective and retracing the relevant area.
Install the latest game patch before treating the problem as a permanent bug. Saber Support says patches are expected for post-launch issues, but its official FAQ does not confirm a specific fix for missing weapon upgrades. Do not delete saves or reinstall the game as a guaranteed remedy. If the upgrade still cannot be found, send Saber Support a precise progression report with your platform, version, location, actions and video or screenshots.

Start by identifying which kind of “missing” upgrade you have
The word “missing” describes two different situations. The remedy depends on whether the upgrade is present in your inventory.
| Situation | What to check | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| The attachment is listed in your inventory | Whether it is installed on a compatible firearm and whether its weapon slot is occupied | Use the inventory installation flow and confirm the installation |
| The attachment is not listed in your inventory | Your current objective and the room or area where the upgrade should be found | Retrace the route and check the documented location before leaving the area |
Owning an attachment does not mean it is automatically equipped. Conversely, an empty upgrade slot does not prove that the item has disappeared from the game; you may simply have missed the pickup. Check the inventory first because it is the quickest way to separate an equipment problem from a collection or progression problem.
#1 Best Overall
- A New Story in Hellraiser's Canon – Unwittingly kickstart Pinhead’s ritual to unleash greater pain and pleasure than ever before.
- Harness the Power of the Box – Combine the unique, hellish abilities of the Configuration with an arsenal of earthly weapons to inflict bone-breaking, flesh-searing pain - or is it pleasure? - upon masochistic enemies.
- Fight Against Unholy Enemies – Take on hell's wretches, deviants, cultists, and even its most infernal priests in a story-driven horror survival game.
If the upgrade is already in your inventory
Use this sequence when you can see the upgrade’s name in the inventory but cannot see its effect on a weapon.
- Open the inventory and identify the exact attachment. Check the item name rather than relying on the weapon’s appearance or statistics.
- Select the attachment. The installation command is available from the attachment’s inventory entry.
- Choose a compatible firearm. The game will only accept the attachment on a weapon it supports. If the firearm is not offered as a target, try another compatible weapon instead of assuming the item is broken.
- Inspect the weapon’s five upgrade slots. Firearms have five upgrade slots. An occupied slot can prevent a new attachment from being installed.
- Check for slot competition. Some attachments compete for the same slot, so two upgrades that appear individually usable may not be equipable together.
- Confirm the installation. Stop only after the game accepts the attachment on the selected firearm; merely highlighting the item is not the same as installing it.
If the attachment is visible in the inventory but the weapon still does not show it after confirmation, record the firearm, attachment name and occupied slots. Those details will help support distinguish a compatibility or slot conflict from a progression defect. If another firearm accepts the attachment, the original behavior is likely a compatibility limitation rather than a missing-item error.
If the upgrade is absent from the inventory
When the item is not listed at all, treat it as an uncollected upgrade first. Read the current objective, then retrace the rooms and route associated with that objective. Search the named area before advancing to a new section.

Prioritize pickups before leaving an area
A launch-period walkthrough by PowerPyx describes some world upgrades as missable and notes that Hellraiser: Revival has no Chapter Select. That makes a deliberate sweep worthwhile while the relevant area is still available. The guide’s warning is a third-party launch finding, not proof that every missed item is permanently lost on every version. It may also change as the game is patched.
Use the documented location as a lead, not a universal answer
One example from that walkthrough is an inventory-capacity upgrade in the safe on the mansion’s upper floor, alongside the SMG. If that is the upgrade you are seeking, return to that safe and verify that the pickup was collected. The location does not establish where every other weapon upgrade is placed, and an empty location after a patch should be reported rather than treated as evidence of a universal bug.
Check the objective state before revisiting
An objective can point you to the correct room even when the item name is not shown prominently. Compare the objective’s wording with the area you searched, then check accessible side rooms, safes and other containers that belong to that route. Keep the exact objective text for a support report if the expected item never appears.
Do not assume that seeing an upgrade guide’s location means the pickup should respawn. First establish whether you collected it previously, whether the inventory entry is present, and whether the current objective still concerns that area. A precise comparison prevents an installation conflict from being reported as a vanished world item.

Restart once, then update the game
Close and relaunch the game as a low-risk check. A restart is not a confirmed repair for this problem; none of the reviewed sources establishes that it restores a missing upgrade. It is useful mainly to rule out a transient inventory display or loading state before you spend time retracing the level.
Next, connect the platform to the internet and install any available game update. Saber’s official support FAQ says the studio expects to release patches for issues discovered after launch and recommends connecting online to receive the latest patches. The game launched on October 8, 2026, so patch status is especially time-sensitive during the launch period.
“While we expect to release some patches to address issues discovered post-launch, we do not have plans for future DLC or content updates.”
— Saber Support FAQ
The statement confirms an expectation of patches, not a named fix for missing weapon upgrades. After updating, note the displayed game version and repeat the inventory or location check that failed. Do not describe the issue as fixed unless the item actually appears or installs. If the update changes the behavior, record the old and new versions in your report.

Actions that are not established fixes
There are no verified recovery methods in the available guidance for deleting a save, rolling back to a checkpoint, using a console command, reinstalling the game or replaying several hours. Those actions can cost progress without restoring the upgrade, so do not present them as guaranteed solutions.
In particular, avoid deleting the affected save while investigating. Preserve the save in its current state so support can examine a reproducible progression problem. If you choose to test another save or profile, treat that as a diagnostic comparison, not a confirmed repair, and keep the original intact.
Use a decision path for the common cases
The attachment is visible in the inventory
- Select it in the inventory.
- Choose a compatible firearm.
- Check the five upgrade slots and remove the assumption that every attachment can coexist.
- Confirm installation and record any rejected firearm or slot conflict.
The attachment is not visible in the inventory
- Read the current objective.
- Retrace the associated room or area.
- Use a location guide as a reference, especially for the upper-floor mansion safe example.
- Search before leaving because a third-party launch guide reports missable world upgrades and no Chapter Select.
The location is empty and the item is still absent
- Relaunch the game once.
- Install the latest patch while connected online.
- Repeat the check and record the result.
- Contact Saber Support if the item remains unavailable.
What to include in a Saber Support report
A precise report is more useful than saying only “the upgrade is missing.” Include the following information in one message:
Rank #3
- Objective and location: quote the current objective and identify the room, safe or area where the upgrade should be.
- Platform: state the system on which you are playing.
- Game version: provide the version shown after updating.
- Difficulty: include the selected difficulty.
- Last successful action: explain the last pickup, installation or objective step that worked.
- Failed action: describe exactly what you did when the item failed to appear or install.
- Reproduction: say whether the problem happens every time you revisit the location or repeat the inventory steps.
- Evidence: attach a screenshot or short clip showing the objective, location, inventory entry, empty container or rejected installation.
An independent progression-troubleshooting guide recommends these kinds of details for a reproducible report. It is not an official promise of a save repair, so avoid claiming that support can restore the item automatically. Include the save’s approximate point in the story and the sequence of actions immediately before the failure when those details are available.

Do not confuse the demo with the released game
The pre-release Steam demo listing warned that the demo could contain bugs and stated that demo progress does not carry over. Those conditions apply to the demo, not automatically to the October 8, 2026 full release. If your expectation comes from a demo run, begin with the full game’s current objective and inventory rather than assuming the same state or item behavior should persist.

How can I tell whether I own the upgrade?
Search the inventory for the exact attachment name. If it appears, follow the installation flow and test a compatible firearm. If it does not appear, investigate the objective and location instead of looking only at empty weapon slots.
Can every attachment be equipped at the same time?
No. Firearms have five upgrade slots, and some attachments compete for the same slot. An attachment can be owned and functioning normally while another upgrade prevents it from being installed on that firearm.
Where is the inventory-capacity upgrade?
A PowerPyx launch walkthrough places an inventory-capacity upgrade in the safe on the mansion’s upper floor with the SMG. Use that as a location lead for that specific item, not as a map for every upgrade or a guarantee that the location is unchanged in every version.

Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Will restarting or reinstalling restore a missing upgrade?
Restarting is a low-risk diagnostic step, but no confirmed repair is documented. Reinstalling, deleting saves, rolling back checkpoints and replaying hours are likewise not established recovery methods and may cost progress.
What should I do after installing the latest patch?
Write down the displayed game version, repeat the failed inventory or location check, and note whether anything changed. Saber Support expects post-launch patches and recommends connecting online, but its FAQ does not name a fix for this particular issue.

What makes a support ticket useful?
Provide the objective and exact location, platform, game version, difficulty, last successful action, failed action, whether the problem reproduces, and a screenshot or clip. Preserve the affected save and avoid claiming a solution that has not been observed.
Fast checklist
- Confirm the exact upgrade name.
- Check whether it appears in the inventory.
- If it does, select it, choose a compatible firearm, inspect the five slots and confirm installation.
- If it does not, read the current objective and retrace the relevant area.
- Prioritize the search before leaving, since a launch guide reports missable upgrades and no Chapter Select.
- Check the documented location for the specific item; the inventory-capacity example is the upper-floor mansion safe with the SMG.
- Relaunch once and install the latest patch while connected online.
- Do not delete saves or treat reinstalling, rollback or replaying as proven fixes.
- Send Saber Support the objective, location, platform, version, difficulty, actions, reproducibility and screenshot or clip if the upgrade remains missing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is an empty weapon slot proof that an upgrade disappeared?
No. The attachment may be in your inventory but not installed, incompatible with that firearm, or blocked by a competing occupied slot. Verify the item entry before searching the level.
Does Hellraiser: Revival have Chapter Select?
A PowerPyx launch-period walkthrough says it does not. Because that is a third-party guide finding, use it as a reason to collect upgrades promptly, not as proof that every missed item is permanently unavailable.
Should I delete my save to force the upgrade to appear?
No. Save deletion is not an established fix and can remove useful evidence or progress. Keep the affected save intact while testing low-risk checks and contacting Saber Support.
Does the Steam demo share progress with the full game?
No. The pre-release demo listing states that demo progress does not carry over. Diagnose the October 8, 2026 release from its own objective, inventory and current version.
The Bottom Line
First separate an owned-but-unequipped attachment from an upgrade that was never collected. Install owned items through the inventory, checking compatible firearms and the five-slot system. For an absent item, follow the current objective and retrace its area before leaving, using the upper-floor mansion safe with the SMG as a documented example for the inventory-capacity upgrade.
Relaunch once, install the latest patch, and preserve your save. If the upgrade remains missing, send Saber Support the objective, location, platform, version, difficulty, action history, reproducibility and visual evidence; no universal save-repair method has been confirmed.
