If Roblox says your gift-card code was already redeemed, first check every Roblox account you or the recipient may have used. Roblox says the Robux may have gone to a different account. If the physical card was sealed and untampered with when you bought it, contact Roblox Support with the receipt and code.
1. Check the Roblox accounts the code may have gone to
Gift-card value is applied to the account signed in when the code is redeemed. Check the buyer’s and recipient’s accounts, including any alternate accounts used on a browser or device. Roblox’s Retail Codes guidance specifically says the Robux may have been added to another account.
If the card was redeemed as Roblox Credit rather than directly for Robux, check the relevant account in a web browser on Roblox’s redemption or billing settings page. Credit is not displayed on every account page. Roblox says Amazon and Party Pack gift cards are Robux-only, rather than Roblox Credit; card type can therefore affect what balance to look for. 2. Confirm where and how the card was redeemed
Retail gift-card codes are redeemed in a web browser at roblox.com/redeem. Before trying anything else, make sure you are checking the account that was signed in at the time. Roblox says the standard mobile app and consoles do not support gift-card redemption; its instructions note a Samsung Galaxy app exception. Follow Roblox’s current redemption instructions for the device and card you have.

3. Don’t keep guessing at the code
Roblox lists look-alike characters that can cause an entry error: 0/O, 1/I, 2/Z, 5/S, 6/G or Q, and 8/B. If you have a general code-entry error, carefully compare those characters with the card. But when Roblox explicitly says the code was already redeemed, repeated character substitutions are unlikely to resolve the stated problem. Focus on checking other accounts and contacting the appropriate support channel.
4. Prepare the information Roblox requests

- Your Roblox username or usernames.
- The purchase date and amount.
- Where you bought the card and the city of purchase.
- Your country of residence.
- The gift-card PIN and serial number.
- An image of the receipt.
- For a physical card, images of both sides; for an e-gift card, an image of the full card.
- An image of the error message, if applicable.
Roblox specifies JPG or PNG for images. Keep the original receipt and card. Share the PIN and serial number only through the support channel Roblox directs you to, not in a public post.
5. Contact the support channel that fits your purchase
Physical card bought from a retailer
For a physical card that was still sealed and untampered with when you bought it, Roblox’s error-specific instruction is to contact Roblox Support with the receipt and code. Include the supporting details and images above, and describe the exact “already redeemed” error.

Digital card bought from Roblox.com
For gift cards purchased online from Roblox.com, Roblox identifies CashStar as its sales partner and directs questions about digital purchases to CashStar’s customer-support form. Use that route for a Roblox.com digital-purchase issue rather than assuming the physical-card process applies.
Other gift-card questions
Roblox’s Contact Us guidance asks gift-card requests to include the PIN or number and the error message. If your situation does not fit the sealed physical-card instruction or a Roblox.com digital purchase, submit the details through Roblox Support and retain your proof of purchase.

6. Keep realistic expectations about refunds or replacement
Roblox’s retail-code terms say retail code products are not refundable and recommend keeping the receipt. The cited Roblox instructions do not promise a refund, replacement, or code reset for an already-redeemed message. They also do not establish what an independent retailer will do under its own policy. Keep the purchase evidence and ask the relevant support channel or seller what options, if any, apply to your case.
