No, I’m Not a Human turns a knock at the door into a difficult judgment call: people arrive seeking refuge, but some are Visitors who look and speak like humans. The game’s central tension is that letting someone in may expose you to danger, while refusing everyone means facing the end times in isolation.

What kind of game is No, I’m Not a Human?

No, I’m Not a Human on Steam describes itself as “An anxiety horror about paranoia in the End of Times.” It is a single-player game developed by Trioskaz and published by CRITICAL REFLEX, released September 15, 2025.

The premise is built around people arriving at your door to seek refuge. They look and talk like humans, but the game warns that some are Visitors. The question is not simply whether a stranger seems frightening; it is whether you can make a consequential choice with incomplete certainty.

Should you let the strangers in?

There is no universally safe answer established by the official description. The game presents both sides of the decision as meaningful: a guest might help or need help, while another might be a Visitor. The store copy also says isolation is not an option, so turning away every arrival is not framed as an uncomplicated solution.

No, I'm Not a Bad Human Survival Scary Horror Game
  • An anxiety nightmare concerning End-Times paranoia.
  • Psychological Horror Atmosphere
  • Branching Dialogue & Consequences
  • Mind-Bending Storyline
  • Creepy environment

That makes each knock a trade-off between the risk of admitting someone dangerous and the cost of shutting out people who may be useful or vulnerable. Expect to weigh what you observe and learn rather than follow a simple rule that makes every encounter safe.

How do you tell a Visitor from a human?

The uncertainty is part of the horror. The official Steam description says Visitors resemble humans, and the official No, I’m Not a Human media kit lists materials about visitor identification, character encounters, and environment exploration. Those materials establish that identification is part of the game, but the official sources do not provide a complete checklist of clues or promise that every arrival can be identified correctly.

Don't Overthink It Conversation Card Game by We’re Not Really Strangers
  • A BOLD NEW GAME FROM WE'RE NOT REALLY STRANGERS — with 150 ‘would you rather’ questions that you didn't know you needed to ask. Reveal sides of your friends, your partner, and yourself that you've never seen before.
  • THREE CATEGORIES - Use the spinner to let fate decide which deck you pull a card from. Land on LIFE for the big questions, LOVE for relationship dilemmas, or for the answers nobody saw coming. With each conversation starter card, the conversations are guaranteed to go places you didn't expect.
  • NO EASY ANSWERS - These questions might feel impossible to answer, and that is by design. Watching other players struggle to choose is half the fun, and the other half is learning more about them, whether you use it as a conversation card couple activity or with a whole group, based on their answers.
  • THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE - Don't overthink it. Your first instinct is the most honest one. This game works best when you stop second-guessing and start saying how you really feel for a fun party game or a relationship card game.
  • WHAT’S INSIDE - 150 unique ‘would you rather’ question cards divided into three categories, and 1 spinner.

Go in expecting to assess strangers, not to apply a guaranteed test. The premise is designed to make trust difficult; a confident-looking answer is not the same as certainty.

What should you expect before starting?

  • Paranoia drives the premise. The official pitch centers on anxiety and the problem of judging people who may be threats.
  • Guests are not all interchangeable. Some may offer help, some may need it, and some are Visitors.
  • Your choices sit between competing risks. The game does not present either automatic hospitality or automatic rejection as a simple answer.
  • It is a single-player release. Steam lists the game as single-player and provides its digital purchase listing.
