How Coachella Quests worked
Players took on a mix of online and physical challenges connected to Coachella. Completing quests earned NFT stamps, while a Canvas Card passport recorded a participant’s activity. Forward Studio described the card as a unique activity ID and said it was stored using OpenSea’s email sign-up wallet. The structure joined digital participation to festival attendance: fans could engage virtually, while on-site activities offered another way to take part. What participants could earn
Launch-era descriptions listed festival-related rewards including 2024 VIP passes, 2025 guest passes, vintage merchandise, VIP upgrades, and other benefits. GamesBeat reported a planned grand prize: a high-level player would be selected for a rare Coachella Key NFT carrying two guest passes to the 2025 festival. What the reported numbers do—and do not—show
Forward Studio’s project page reports more than 50,000 quests completed, a 14% conversion rate, and a 35% referral rate. The page does not state when these figures were measured or define the conversion and referral denominators, measurement window, or methodology.
