Dots & Co took the original Dots’ simple color-matching puzzle and wrapped it in a journey: players still linked matching dots and made squares, but could also meet companions whose abilities helped clear levels. It launched on Google Play in July 2016. Here’s what changed—and what the available records do and don’t establish about finding it today.
How Dots & Co played
The basic task was to connect dots of the same color and complete the objectives for each level. Dots Support described it as an easy-to-play puzzle game built around those two actions: linking matching dots and clearing level objectives. Dots Support: How do I play?
The familiar Dots mechanics remained part of the appeal. In its July 21, 2016 launch coverage, Droid Life described popping dots and forming squares as core play, rather than replacing the original game’s puzzle with an entirely different format. Droid Life’s launch report
What made it different from the original Dots?
Dots & Co added a story-like journey and companions with special traits. Some companions could clear all dots of a particular color, giving players an additional way to approach a level’s objective. That character ability layer was the clearest difference from the straightforward dot-linking premise described for the original game in the launch coverage. The available sources do not establish a complete feature-by-feature comparison with either Dots or Two Dots.

How did progress saving work on Android?
Dots Support’s instructions said Android players could save progress by connecting to a Google Play Games Service account. The same support page said cross-platform progress syncing was not supported. Those are the instructions documented for the game; they do not confirm that the service or account-linking process remains functional today. Dots Support: How do I save my progress in Dots & Co?

The PlayDots developer catalog on Google Play checked for this article lists Two Dots but does not show Dots & Co. That is an omission from the catalog listing, not proof that the game is unavailable everywhere or inaccessible to anyone who previously downloaded it. The catalog alone also cannot establish current installability in a particular country, device, or account. PlayDots’ Google Play developer catalog
