The first Marvel-themed Secret Lair Superdrop brought together character releases for Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Storm, and Black Panther. The official Iron Man product page lists five cards and a Treasure token. The headline’s “today” is historical framing: available official listings do not verify the original Superdrop’s sale date, time, price, or regional availability.
What was in the first Marvel Secret Lair Superdrop?
The official Marvel Superdrop listing names five character-themed products: Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Storm, and Black Panther. The available listing excerpt does not provide a full card-by-card contents list for all five, so the Iron Man release is the one whose contents can be detailed here.
Iron Man: five cards and a Treasure token
Secret Lair x Marvel’s Iron Man was a physical Magic: The Gathering card product themed around Iron Man. Its listed contents are:
- Iron Man, Titan of Innovation
- Galvanic Blast
- Commander’s Plate
- Sol Ring
- Inventors’ Fair
- A Treasure token
The product description identifies Iron Man, Titan of Innovation as a new legendary card. It credits artists Bud Cook, Justyna Dura, Lie Setiawan, Anna Steinbauer, and Marco Teixeira.

What is known about the original sale?
The available official product and listing excerpts do not establish when the first Marvel Superdrop originally went on sale, what time it began, which regions could buy it, or its historical price. A UK listing currently shows a £39.99–£424.99 range across multiple products or bundles; that crawl-time catalog range is not evidence of the original Superdrop’s price, nor an original US price.
Current availability is a separate question from what the first drop contained. The cited product listing confirms the Iron Man release existed, but does not establish current stock. Check the store listing directly for present-day availability.

How the first Superdrop differs from later Marvel Secret Lair releases
Later Marvel-branded products appear in the official catalog, but their contents and sale windows should not be confused with the first Superdrop. A Perfectly Normal Marvel Bundle is described as a later bundle containing foil and non-foil Marvel drops.
Spinner Rack Specials is another later release. Its stated availability window was July 17–19, 2026, with shipping beginning July 22, 2026. Those dates apply to Spinner Rack Specials, not the original Marvel Superdrop.
