To play Titanfall 2 in VR with CircuitLord’s installer-based campaign mod, you need a Windows PC with Titanfall 2 installed, a VR headset connected to that PC, and a working headset runtime. You also need the EA app available and signed in. The installer sets up Northstar and the mod; it does not make the game run on a headset by itself.
Which Titanfall 2 VR mod does this cover?
These requirements are for CircuitLord’s installer-based campaign conversion. Its installer finds a Titanfall 2 installation and installs Northstar and the mod into a separate TF2VR profile. A different project by TinyBlkDog is a Northstar plugin using OpenXR; its requirements and device tests are not compatibility evidence for CircuitLord’s mod.

How to install and launch it
- Install Titanfall 2 on your PC, then make sure the EA app is installed and signed in.
- Run CircuitLord’s installer and let it locate the game. It installs Northstar and the VR mod into the
TF2VRprofile. - Start SteamVR or the runtime your headset uses.
- Use the installer’s Launch in VR action. Starting the game normally from Steam launches the unmodded game, according to the installer README.

How much PC power do you need?
No minimum PC specification or frame-rate target is published for CircuitLord’s mod in the current guide. That means there is no supported GPU, CPU, or memory figure to use as a guaranteed requirement; performance will depend on your PC and setup.

Do not treat hardware listed for TinyBlkDog’s separate OpenXR plugin as a CircuitLord requirement. TinyBlkDog lists a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 32 GB of memory, and Windows 11 as a test system for that project—not as a minimum specification for CircuitLord’s mod. What to expect from the headset and movement
The supported setup is framed broadly as a headset connected to the PC, rather than a specific required headset model. The available CircuitLord materials describe a runtime launch flow but do not certify every device, so check that your headset works with its PC runtime rather than assuming a particular model is guaranteed.

Movement is demanding: Titanfall 2’s wall-running and grappling remain part of the experience. Snap turning is available, but it does not remove that movement. How TinyBlkDog’s project differs
TinyBlkDog’s project is a separate Northstar client plugin that hooks the game’s DirectX 11 renderer and uses an OpenXR session. Its README lists a Titanfall 2 Steam or EA app installation, Northstar, an OpenXR runtime, and a PC-VR-capable GPU. It identifies v0.1.1 as alpha and single-player only, and reports testing with Meta Quest 3 and Play For Dream MR through Virtual Desktop’s VDXR.
