Chronicle added new ways to collect media
Kinetic Games described Chronicle as a major rework of media collection and rewards. Rather than limiting documentation to photographs, the update added video and sound recordings, along with the Sound Recorder, an in-game equipment item used to capture paranormal sounds as media. It is not a real-world ghost-hunting product.
Chronicle also changed how collected media is evaluated, including distinctions between Unique and Duplicate captures. The update’s focus is the investigation record and its rewards: photos, video, and audio become different ways to document a contract. Bleasdale and Grafton were separate map changes
The map work was not part of a single Chronicle patch. Kinetic Games’ 2025 roadmap listed Bleasdale Farmhouse, Grafton Farmhouse, and 6 Tanglewood Drive as planned reworks, with Bleasdale first. The roadmap described plans, not a guarantee that every map change would arrive together, and cautioned that its information and images could change. These details indicate changes to both the farmhouse’s atmosphere and the ways players encounter activity; the official description does not provide measured performance results or player-preference data. Grafton Farmhouse
Grafton’s rework was a distinct release announcement. 6 Tanglewood Drive
6 Tanglewood Drive appeared on the 2025 roadmap as a planned rework. The roadmap supports describing it as planned at that point, but the sources cited here do not provide release notes confirming specific delivered changes. Was a new ghost added?

The roadmap also included a character overhaul
The 2025 roadmap listed a Player Character Overhaul among planned major updates. Kinetic Games later acknowledged problems with that update and its unmet promises, writing in the follow-up patch notes: “We want to start today by apologising for our Player Character Update that launched last week.
