Frosted ice forms over water while a player wearing Frost Walker boots walks across it. It cracks and melts after a short time, particularly in sunlight, so treat it as a temporary crossing rather than a building material.

Does blue ice make travel faster?
Blue ice is more slippery than regular or packed ice, which is why it can be useful for travel surfaces.
