Why PC players saw different times
The midnight-local-time console schedule did not apply to PC. The reported PC unlock varied by storefront as well as time zone, so use the column matching the store where the game was purchased rather than converting the console time. GameSpot’s March 5, 2025 report of Ubisoft’s announcement independently gave 9:00 p.m. PT on March 19 and midnight ET on March 20 as examples. It also reported that Xbox preload was already underway, PC preload began March 17 at 4:00 p.m. UTC, and PS5 preload began March 18 at midnight local time. Yes. Ubisoft’s current game page lists the game as available. Ubisoft’s 2026 article describes a final update featuring the story capper Black Tides and the challenge feature Domains; it quotes Associate Game Director Simon describing Black Tides as a free content drop for players seeking more narrative and Templar story content.
