Battlefield 6 Season 1 continued until Season 2 launched on February 17, 2026. EA’s original in-game date of January 20 was superseded by an extension. On launch day, the Season 2 update download was scheduled for 09:00 UTC, while all Season 2 content was scheduled to go live at 12:00 UTC. These dates have passed.
When did Battlefield 6 Season 1 end?
Season 1 ended when Season 2 began on February 17, 2026. EA extended Season 1 beyond its original in-game end date of January 20, and said its Battle Pass would remain available until Season 2 started. EA’s community update, reposted on Reddit, announced the extension and the February 17 launch.
That explains why players may have seen January 20 in the game: it was the original displayed date, not the final end date after EA’s extension.
What time did Battlefield 6 Season 2 start?
EA scheduled two separate milestones for February 17, 2026. The schedule was published in UTC in Battlefield Studios’ February 13 update announcement.
