Can you still play Episode: Heresy?

No. Bungie said Episode: Heresy and all Year 7 content would end on July 15, 2025. Its July 10 update reminded players to claim seasonal rewards that would expire before the transition.

Bungie’s Destiny Content Vault reference lists Heresy among the Year 8 vaulted seasonal narratives and activities. Bungie’s Year 8 deprecation information also names Heresy missions, quests, engrams, and artifacts among items removed from inventories at the transition. The sources cited here do not establish whether particular Heresy weapons or other rewards can be earned through later systems.
