When Did Stardew Valley 1.6 Come Out on Consoles?

Stardew Valley 1.6 came to consoles on November 4, 2024. The console and mobile ports launched as version 1.6.9, as announced by creator ConcernedApe and confirmed on the official forums.

Console release date and launch version

ConcernedApe announced the date on September 22, 2024, writing: “The console and mobile ports of the 1.6 update will be released on November 4th, 2024.” The official forum confirmed the update was out on November 4, while noting it could take some time to appear on an individual device. What the 1.6 update added

Among the update’s additions were the Desert Festival, Trout Derby, SquidFest, a mastery system, and the Meadowlands Farm. These are examples, not a complete list; see the official 1.6 changelog for the full set of changes.

Which consoles are listed

The official factsheet lists Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 as platforms for Stardew Valley. It does not establish the current availability of the game in every regional storefront or confirm compatibility with later console generations. Console patches after the 1.6 launch

A later official notice said version 1.6.15.1 was issued for Xbox and PlayStation on February 12, 2025, and that the Switch equivalent was available by February 26, 2025. Those dated notices document a subsequent patch, but do not establish the latest version now or confirm version parity across platforms and regions. Official console update notice
