What time did reviews go live?
Contemporaneous advance reports listed 7 a.m. PDT, 10 a.m. EDT, and 3 p.m. BST on May 9, 2025. The precise date is more firmly established than every reported time-zone conversion: reports conflict over the Central European time, so treat that conversion with caution.
How is the embargo date confirmed?
Game Informer published a review-in-progress on May 9 and stated, “Doom: The Dark Ages doesn’t launch until May 15, but the review embargo lifted today.” That is direct confirmation from a review published on the date the embargo lifted. Game Informer’s review-in-progress.
Insider Gaming reported the May 9 date and the 7 a.m. PDT, 10 a.m. EDT, and 3 p.m. BST times ahead of the lift. Insider Gaming’s embargo report. Bethesda Support lists May 15, 2025, as the official launch date. The game launched on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Steam, Battle.net, and PlayStation 5; Bethesda also lists availability through Game Pass Ultimate, including PC Game Pass, and GeForce Now. Bethesda Support.
