When Do You Get Your First Vehicle in Borderlands 4?

You get your first vehicle in Borderlands 4 after completing the third main-story mission, “Down and Outbound.” Continue into “Meet Conway” and help the Outbounders; Conway then gives you the Digirunner.

How to unlock the Digirunner

1. Progress through the main story until you complete “Down and Outbound.”
2. Continue into the next mission, “Meet Conway.”
3. Help the Outbounders. Conway gives you the Digirunner as part of this story sequence.

The unlock is tied to story progress; the walkthrough does not specify a player-level requirement or a side quest. Game8’s walkthrough, updated September 15, 2025, identifies this mission sequence and handoff.
