Demon Bluff is planned to launch on Steam in November 2026, according to October 8 coverage of its Convergence Games Showcase announcement. No exact release day has been reported. A free demo is already available on Steam.

When does Demon Bluff come out on Steam?

Current reports place the full release in November 2026, but do not give a specific date. GamersExtra reported the November window on October 8 after the Convergence Games Showcase, and DarkZero also listed November in its October 8 trailer roundup. The developer’s inspected Steam announcements describe a 2026 release but do not independently confirm the month.

The available Steam product is a separate, free demo released May 27, 2026. Its listing is not a substitute for the full-game launch date or final launch details.

What kind of game is Demon Bluff?

Demon Bluff is a single-player social-deduction game built around roguelike card runs. Demons have infiltrated a village and can disguise themselves as allies. You investigate characters, use the information and abilities on Villager and Outcast cards, and try to identify and expose the demons. The official Steam listing sums up its premise with the line, “The cards lie!”

Despite its social-deduction premise, the game is not described as multiplayer bluffing around a table. The deduction happens against a card-based cast: some characters offer useful clues, while Demons and Minions may mislead you by posing as Villagers. The challenge is interpreting conflicting information rather than winning through real-time combat.

What can you play in the free demo?

The Steam demo advertises 40+ unique character cards, multiple modes and scenarios, challenges, and cosmetic unlocks. Those counts and features describe the demo listing; they should not be taken as a confirmed total for the full game.

Runs, deckbuilding, and other modes

The store description presents village runs with an expanding randomized deck, alongside a Deckbuilding mode in which you draft a deck and play a multi-part run. It also lists endless mode and challenges. As runs progress, the game introduces more complex cards, upgrades, and deception. The listing mentions unlockable character cards, alternate skins, card backs, and decorations.

Relics and changing village rules

In a May 27 developer announcement, UmiArt described Relics as passive items that alter village conditions. Its examples included Grave Flame, which can cause health loss when revealing the last four cards, and Severed Horn, which makes the character in slot one always tell the truth. That announcement counted nine Relics in the demo at the time and said more were planned for the full release; it is a dated development snapshot, not a final-content list. Who is making and publishing Demon Bluff?

Steam identifies UmiArt as the developer and offbrand games as publisher. In an April 16 developer announcement, UmiArt said offbrand games and Northernlion were helping publish and promote the game while the studio focused on development and polishing for a 2026 release. A July 16 post continued to describe a full release that year and invited players to a playtest featuring new characters, Relics, and mechanics.

UmiArt also reported reaching 150,000 Steam wishlists on May 22 and 200,000 on July 13, 2026. Those are developer-reported wishlist milestones, not sales or player counts.

The precise November release day, full-game price, and final launch feature set are not established in the inspected sources. The November window comes from October 8 coverage, while the developer announcements reviewed say 2026 without naming a month. The demo is playable now, but its card count and dated Relic details should not be assumed to describe the finished game.
