The next Gray Zone Warfare wipe is tied to Update 0.5, scheduled as a soft wipe. The Supporter Preview begins October 19, 2026, while the full release is scheduled for October 22. Those are separate access dates, not competing estimates: the preview is for Supporter Edition owners.

What gets wiped, and what carries over?
MADFINGER Games describes Update 0.5 as a soft wipe rather than a complete reset. The October 4 announcement says the change is intended to rebalance the in-game economy while preserving progression.

The developer’s October 4 announcement, “Player-Driven Improvements in 0.5”, gives the full list. Its October 1 Update 0.5 Teaser independently confirms the main retained progression and the locker and money reset.

What should you know about choosing a character mode?
The first time you enter the Update 0.5 Supporter Preview or full release, you must choose which mode receives your existing character progression. MADFINGER Games says this transfer choice is irreversible, and your faction stays the same.
Each character will have a selected mode—PvE or PvEvP—and faction. You cannot have two characters with the same mode-and-faction combination at the same time, according to the Update 0.5 announcement.

No later wipe date or regular wipe cadence is announced in the official sources reviewed. The official Gray Zone Warfare news index lists routine Update 0.4 patches separately from the Update 0.5 major update, so a patch date should not be treated as a wipe date.
The March 13, 2025 “Roadmap Reshaped” page is explicitly marked outdated and should not be used to predict a future wipe schedule.
