What did SNK reveal about Mai?
Mai was confirmed as a playable member of Team Super Heroine in KOF XV, alongside Athena Asamiya and Yuri Sakazaki. Although the trailer centered on Athena, SNK’s announcement headline and text confirmed the full three-character lineup.

How does Team Super Heroine fit into KOF XV?
The King of Fighters XV retains the series’ 3-on-3 team battles. SNK says teams have different stories and endings, giving the lineup a narrative role as well as a gameplay one. SNK’s official KOF XV page

The same page lists physical package editions for PS5 and PS4 as well as digital editions. It also specifies that the PS4 version can be upgraded to PS5 for free; upgrading from a PS4 physical copy requires a PS5 with a disc drive. That upgrade detail applies to the PlayStation versions described by SNK, not other platforms. Check local storefronts for current stock and pricing.

Yes, but that is a separate game and announcement. SNK announced Mai as a playable character in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves on August 21, 2024, and listed that game’s release date as April 24, 2025.
