Switch 2 details announced around the Direct
Nintendo’s April 2 product announcement said the Switch 2 would launch on June 5, 2025, and specified a 7.9-inch display and 256 GB of internal storage. Nintendo also said the system plays compatible physical and digital Nintendo Switch games, while noting that some games may not be supported or fully compatible. These are console details from Nintendo’s Switch 2 product announcement, not statistics about the Direct’s audience.
