In Old School RuneScape, charter ships operate from docks at Port Sarim, Corsair Cove, and Land’s End. The easiest starting point is Trader Stan and his crew at the southernmost jetty in Port Sarim. Speak with the charter crew there and choose a destination to see whether that dock serves it and what the fare is.
Where to find charter ship docks
Port Sarim
Find Trader Stan and his crew at the southernmost jetty in Port Sarim. They operate the charter service. Port Sarim also has other boats, so look for Trader Stan rather than assuming every captain or vessel at the docks is part of the charter network. Trader Stan’s Trading Post and the Port Sarim page describe the location and its separate boat services.
Corsair Cove and Land’s End
Charter docks are also listed at Corsair Cove and Land’s End. Each dock has its own destinations and fares; a route available from one port may not be available from another.
How to use a charter ship
- Go to a charter dock: Port Sarim’s southernmost jetty, Corsair Cove, or Land’s End.
- Speak with the charter crew at that dock.
- Select your destination from the available options. Check the displayed fare before confirming, since both route availability and price depend on your departure dock.

The following are fares reported in Old School RuneScape Wiki route-table excerpts. They are examples, not a complete or independently verified current fare matrix; check the in-game interface for the fare on your route.

For example, the excerpts list Brimhaven at 1,600 coins from Port Sarim, 680 from Corsair Cove, and 2,200 from Land’s End. Those figures illustrate why it is worth checking the price at the dock you plan to use.
Ways to reduce charter fares
Completing Cabin Fever reduces charter fares by 50%. Wearing the ring of charos(a) also reduces fares by 50%; the reductions stack, so using both leaves a quarter of the standard fare, according to the Charter ship reference.

Do not confuse Port Sarim’s other boats with charters
Port Sarim’s docks serve several separate boat services, including boats associated with Veos, the Monk of Entrana, Captain Tobias, the Squire, and Klarense. These are not all charter ships, and their routes should not be compared as if they belonged to Trader Stan’s charter network. The broader transportation system also includes other options, such as teleports and fairy rings; which is useful depends on your destination, unlocks, and cost.
