The clue is 參ゼワ五, which a community walkthrough translates to 3015. The keypad is described as using Japanese characters, so enter the clue’s characters in order. There is also a separate, later password: 八七四九.
Where to find the first Chapter III code
- Progress through the house until you reach a door that asks for a password.
- Return to the main room and explore the other passage, which leads to a room beside a cabinet.
- Look near the cabinet for the clue 參ゼワ五.
- Return to the password door and enter the clue’s Japanese characters in order. The walkthrough translates them to 3015.
The keypad may show Japanese symbols rather than numerals. Follow the characters on the clue instead of assuming you should type the translated number.
If you mean the later password door
A later puzzle in Control Book Chapter III uses a calculation displayed upside down and backwards on a wall in a storage room. The walkthrough gives the answer as 8749; enter the Japanese characters 八七四九 at the following password door. This is a different code from the clue near the cabinet.
Check which “Chapter 3” you are playing
Search results use “Chapter 3” for more than one walkthrough. The route above covers The Mimic’s Control Book Chapter III, associated with the cabinet clue and password doors. Another community page describes a shipwreck-based chapter and a code needed to escape a ship, but does not establish that it covers the same chapter version or give a code value. Check the book and chapter title shown in your game before following a guide.

How reliable are these code locations?
The detailed locations and character translations come from a third-party walkthrough, not a developer-confirmed guide. A separate answer page also gives 3015, but that is not primary confirmation. Roblox’s official The Mimic listing identifies the experience as a CTStudio game and describes its four stories, but does not document these puzzles.
