How to find Hidden Lake on The Island
Head to the northeastern part of The Island and search for a small lake enclosed by dense forest, boulders, and hills. The trees and rock formations make the clearing feel tucked away, so use the terrain and lake as your main landmarks rather than relying on an exact GPS pin. The ARK community wiki’s Hidden Lake entry describes three foot entrances; obstructions at the approaches can make access difficult for larger creatures.

Player reports place the lake roughly near latitude 22, longitude 70. Treat that as a general search area: the available sources do not establish a definitive center coordinate, and the reported figure is informal rather than a verified map point.
Is this the same Hidden Lake as Valguero?
No. ARK has a separate region named Hidden Lake on the Valguero map. The Island location is the small, enclosed lake in the northeast; the Valguero entry describes a different area associated with a waterfall and cave. Confirm that you are on The Island if you are following directions to the forest clearing. The Valguero Hidden Lake entry covers that separate location.

What to expect when you arrive
The Island’s Hidden Lake is relatively sheltered and has nearby resources and Giant Beaver Dams. Castoroides and other wildlife can still be dangerous, so approach carefully rather than assuming the secluded setting is safe.
