For the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, check PlayStation Direct where it operates in your country and established retailers that sell PlayStation hardware. Sony’s buying instructions date to the November 21, 2024 launch, so they do not confirm that any item is still in stock or establish today’s prices. Verify the exact edition, seller, condition and return terms before purchasing.
Which products are in the collection?
Sony announced five options in September 2024: two PS5 bundles and three standalone products. The collection’s original PlayStation-inspired color scheme appears across selected hardware and accessories.

Where Sony directed buyers at launch
In September 2024, Sony said customers with a PlayStation Network account could preorder selected products through PlayStation Direct in markets where the service was available. The announcement named the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Austria. In other regions, Sony directed buyers to participating retailers. That was launch guidance, not a current retailer or stock list.

The announced preorder dates varied by product and route:
- PS5 Pro bundle, PlayStation Portal and DualSense Edge: preorders began September 26, 2024.
- PS5 Digital Edition bundle through participating retailers: preorders began October 10, 2024.
- Standalone DualSense through participating retailers: preorders began September 26, 2024.
For a purchase now, check PlayStation Direct if it serves your market, then compare established retailers in your country. The 2024 announcement does not identify which retailers currently have stock, give current prices, or confirm that a listing’s seller is authorized.

How to check a listing before buying
- Choose the product you want. Make sure the listing is for the PS5 Pro bundle, PS5 Digital Edition bundle, Portal, DualSense Edge or standard DualSense. Similar 30th Anniversary products are not interchangeable.
- Check bundle contents and condition. Read the full listing to confirm the edition, included accessories, and whether the item is new or used. Check who the seller is rather than assuming a marketplace listing is sold by the retailer itself.
- Review the total cost and terms. Compare the full price, delivery charges, return window and other seller conditions before ordering.
- Confirm disc-drive needs for a console bundle. Sony’s bundle descriptions say the PS5 Pro and PS5 Digital Edition bundles include a console cover for a Disc Drive, but the Disc Drive is sold separately. If disc playback matters, check compatibility with the specific PS5 model and confirm whether a compatible drive is included in the listing.
What Sony’s limited-quantity announcement means
Sony announced that 12,300 PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary bundles would be available, with a limited-edition number etched onto each unit. This is the announced quantity, not a count of units remaining or proof that the bundle is unavailable. It does not establish current stock for the PS5 Pro or any other collection product. What comes with the console bundles?
PS5 Pro bundle
Sony’s description specifies a 2TB SSD and matching limited-edition accessories: DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers, a DualSense Charging Station, and a console cover for a Disc Drive. The Disc Drive is sold separately. The bundle also includes a vertical stand and collector items: a controller-style cable connector housing, four PlayStation Shapes cable ties, a sticker, one of 30 possible limited-edition poster designs and a paperclip. Check a seller’s listing against this description to confirm what is actually included.

PS5 Digital Edition bundle
Sony described this bundle with a 1TB SSD, a matching DualSense controller and a console cover for a Disc Drive, which is sold separately. It also includes a vertical stand and the listed collector items. Its contents differ from the PS5 Pro bundle, so compare the specific product description rather than relying on a generic “30th Anniversary PS5” listing title.
