There is no verified fixed map location for a Launch Pad in Fortnite OG. Epic’s official OG material shows that a non-throwable Launch Pad was part of the Chapter 1 Season 4 loot pool, but it does not name a building, Point of Interest, chest, or other place where it drops. Because OG loot changes from season to season, that past inclusion does not tell you whether the item is in the pool you are playing today. As of October 8, 2026, the official material available does not confirm the active OG loot pool, so check the pool for your current season before you plan a route around it.
What Epic’s official OG material establishes
Epic’s Season 4 OG announcement, “Brace for Impact: Season 4 Hits Fortnite OG!”, lists “Launch Pad (non-throwable version)” among the items in that season’s loot pool. That is the strongest official statement available on this item, and it is a statement about loot-pool membership only. It does not describe where the item spawned, how often it appeared, or which drop sources could produce it.
Epic’s December 5, 2024 announcement, “Fortnite OG is Back on Dec. 6, and Here to Stay!”, explains the rules that matter here. OG returned as an always-on experience starting with Chapter 1 Season 1 on December 6, 2024. Its initial loot pool matched the original Chapter 1 Season 1 pool, and more items were unvaulted as that season progressed. Epic describes OG as recreating Chapter 1 seasons, including their loot-pool changes, so each season can have a different set of items.
Why a fixed location can’t be assumed
A loot-pool entry is not a spawn guide. Items in Battle Royale are placed by the game’s loot systems for the season in play, and the official sources linked here do not publish spawn tables for the Launch Pad. Community suggestions that name specific locations are not supported by the official material and should be treated as guesses. This includes commonly repeated names such as Greasy Grove, Retail Row, Lonely Lodge, and Pleasant Park. None of them is confirmed as a Launch Pad location in any source covered here.

Geography does not appear to be a factor. The official OG announcements reviewed here do not describe a regional restriction on the item. That is a statement about what the official material says, not a guarantee that every region or platform behaves identically.
Three similarly named items
The name “Launch Pad” appears in more than one Epic context, and the versions are not interchangeable. Advice that applies to one should not be assumed to apply to another.

If you are searching for the Battle Royale item in OG, the throwable Creative Launchpad and the Creative trap entry are not evidence of where it drops.

Because the answer depends on the season, use the following order to confirm whether the item is currently available:

- Identify the Fortnite OG season you are playing. Chapter 1 seasons are listed separately in Epic’s OG coverage, so confirm the season name and number before you check anything else.
- Open Epic’s official Fortnite news page for that season’s OG announcement and read the loot-pool list. Look for the exact wording “Launch Pad (non-throwable version)”. A similar name in a different context does not count.
- Check whether later Epic posts for the same season add or unvault items. Epic has said that OG adds items as a season progresses, so an early-season list may be incomplete.
- If the item is not listed for your season, it is not in that season’s pool, regardless of what you remember from an earlier season.
- If the item is listed, the official material still does not tell you where it drops. Treat any location you find in a community guide as unverified unless the guide cites an official Epic source.
What remains unconfirmed
The official material reviewed for this guide does not establish whether the Launch Pad is in the active OG loot pool on October 8, 2026, or what drop sources currently produce it. It also does not give drop rates, spawn percentages, or any location statistic. Anyone who gives you a percentage or a specific building for this item is going beyond what Epic has published.
Use the season’s official loot-pool list as the source of truth for whether the item is available. For where it appears in play, the official material currently gives no answer.
