Originium Science Park is in Valley IV, and two location sources list 36 chests in the area. The newest dated inventory, from EnfieldBuild, counts 12 High-Tier, 11 Normal, 9 Basic, 2 Gorgeous, and 2 Locked chests as of September 19, 2026. Because the available text guide describes only a subset of the locations, use its landmarks below alongside an interactive map to track down all 36.
How many chests are in Originium Science Park?
Game8’s guide, last updated March 14, 2026, reports 36 Treasure Chests in the area. EnfieldBuild’s interactive map also shows 36 chest markers and provides the later category inventory below, dated September 19, 2026. These are guide and map-publisher counts, not official developer statistics.

Open the EnfieldBuild interactive map for the full set of markers. The map gives a marker-by-marker view; the location descriptions available in Game8’s Originium Science Park chest guide cover only some of the pickups, so the clues below are not a complete 36-stop route.
Landmarks and obstacles for chest hunting
Use these source-described clues to identify several pickups, then compare them with map markers and your in-game map. Some chests require detours, combat, or access opened by an environmental obstacle.

- At the Transport Nexus, look inside a metal-container crate.
- Check the underground section of the circular building for a chest.
- In an underground section of the park, a chest sits between moving lasers. It may be encountered during the “Walk in the Park” quest.
Central park and Research Center
- Between Blight walls, one chest is guarded by enemies.
- Inside the Research Center, look for an orange room where contained Originium blocks a chest.
- Another chest is in a fenced area reached by dropping down from the lab.
- Search the mountain slope south of the Research Center.
Kohl Plant
- One building requires bombs to enter.
- Look behind flammable crates for a chest.
- Basement-level chests also require multiple bombs.
Cliffside Trail and Infra-Station
- In the western section of Cliffside Trail, a cave is hidden behind three wooden boxes.
- Another chest along the trail is guarded by enemies.
- Near Infra-Station, clear Energy Alluvium to the south to reach a chest.
How to find the chests the clues do not describe
The guide’s text does not provide a verified coordinate or route for every marker. Use the interactive map to identify the remaining chest markers, then check each location against the game’s map and the current build. This avoids treating a partial set of landmark clues as a complete itinerary.
The game also has a Valley IV detector, described in an item listing as finding one undiscovered storage chest in the current area. The listing says all map fog in the area must be unlocked before use and that the detector works only in Valley IV. It does not establish its English in-game item name, cost, charge limits, or whether every chest category is detectable; “Valley IV detector” is therefore a descriptive label, not a confirmed English UI name.

Why quest progress and route access matter
“Walk in the Park” takes place in Originium Science Park. Its quest brief says Blight blocks many routes through the park, so progress and access through the area can affect how you reach some pickups. If a marker appears to be beyond a blocked route, check whether the relevant route or quest progression is still incomplete rather than assuming the marker is misplaced.
