Chapter 2 Remix had ten hidden gnomes, and each one sat at a fixed spot on the island. The list below gives every location with a landmark to look for. The gnome hunt belonged to the late-2024 Chapter 2 Remix season, so these locations describe a past quest rather than one you can currently complete.
All ten gnome locations
Each location below is taken from Beebom’s November 4, 2024 guide and cross-checked against Shacknews’ November 2, 2024 guide, which lists the same ten spots.

How to spot and collect a gnome
Beebom and GameSpot both describe the same mechanics. Walk toward the landmark until an exclamation mark appears above the gnome, which signals you are close enough. Then interact with the gnome to collect it. Seeing it or knocking it around does not count.
- Collection is the only trigger. Interacting with the gnome is what records it toward the total.
- Order does not matter. You can collect the ten in any sequence.
- Progress can span several rounds. Gnomes stay where they are until you interact with them, so you can return in a later match.
- The quest screen does not show locations. GameSpot reported that the tracked quest screen did not display where the gnomes were, so the list above is the only map reference.
Planning a route
GameSpot’s Mark Delaney suggested starting at the Weather Station gnome, because a helicopter is available there to travel between locations. The same guide warned that storm pressure and other players made collecting all ten in a single round unlikely. Plan for multiple rounds, and treat the Weather Station as a sensible opening rather than a guaranteed shortcut.

The extra gnome at FN Radio
Shacknews warned that a gnome at the top of FN Radio is not one of the ten. If you find it and your count does not change, that is why. Only the ten locations above contribute to the set.
Rewards
Beebom reported the following rewards for the quest:
Rank #2
- Heroes - play as four hero classes, each with thousands of variations to recruit and unlock.
- Skill tree/RPG - points put into the skill tree allow you to unlock new hero abilities, upgrade weapons, Boost your team health, and more.
- Enemies - defend yourself against hordes of monsters that come from the mysterious Storm.
- Building System - The revolutionary building system allows you to quickly build structures while also juggling frenetic combat.
- Schematics/Crafting - Use the resources you find in the world to craft weapons, traps, health packs, and more.
- 10,000 XP for each collected gnome.
- A further 20,000 XP for completing the full set of ten.
- 120,000 XP in total.
These amounts come from Beebom’s November 4, 2024 guide. Epic Games’ launch announcement did not confirm the gnome reward figures, so treat them as contemporaneous reporting rather than official Epic terms.

Epic Games announced Chapter 2 Remix on November 1, 2024, describing it as a return of the early Chapter 2 island, with weekly location and loot drops. Its finale live event was scheduled for November 30, 2024. In Epic’s own words, “The Island you knew is back, remixed and reimagined, with weekly location and loot drops inspired by the best of early Chapter 2 gameplay and some of the greatest music icons in history.”
