REANIMAL has five coffins, found in Chapters 1, 3, 4, and 7. Chapter 3 contains two. Follow the routes below, and be especially careful in Chapter 4: operating the wheel to advance the scene can cut off that coffin’s route.

Chapter 1: Dead in the Water
At the rail bridge
- Use the trolley to cross the rail bridge.
- Get off at the track junction and follow the tracks branching to the right.
- Go through the wrecked train cars to reach a secluded area with the coffin.
Chapter 3: After the Flood
Flooded-city detour before the hotel
- After obtaining the harpoon and approaching the hotel, hold off on entering it.
- Take the right-hand route through the flooded city.
- Destroy the two mines blocking a building, then take the boat to the end of the route.
- Enter the building and follow its path to the coffin.
Cave behind the cannon
- After exiting the hotel, continue into the open-water area with the cannon.
- Go behind the cannon and enter the cave passage.
- Follow the passage to shore, where the coffin is located.
The Epic Games Store guide says this coffin can also be reached in Chapter 6 if you missed it during Chapter 3. Epic Games Store’s coffin locations guide is credited to Diego Perez and dated February 13, 2026.

Chapter 4: No Shelter
Clock tower room
- In the room where a friend is being lowered into a floor opening, clear the enemies.
- Take the door in the lower-left corner and collect the coffin.
- Only then operate the wheel to lift your friend.
Turning the wheel advances the scene and removes the route back to the coffin, so collect it first.
Chapter 7: The Spoils
Hospital corridor
- Continue through the hospital corridor with explosive soldiers until a wall is blown open.
- Turn around and enter the newly revealed room.
- Spin the large wheel, climb down the ladder, and collect the coffin.
If you reach the sheep scene, you have gone too far, according to the guides.

How the secret-ending requirement works
The Epic Games Store and PowerPyx guides report that you must find all five coffins in one playthrough for the secret-ending requirement. They say chapter-select replay does not count toward it. After collecting all five, finish the game: the Epic guide says the Friends Reunited achievement does not unlock immediately upon finding the last coffin.

The guides describe the requirement as a single-playthrough collection, so replaying a chapter to collect a missed coffin is not reported to complete it. The Epic Games Store guide specifically identifies one exception for reaching a location later: the cannon-area coffin from Chapter 3 can be revisited in Chapter 6. The guides do not identify a specific game patch or establish whether these rules vary by platform.
