There are 64 Kerotan frog dolls to shoot in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Follow this route in story order, and pay close attention to the early-area entries: several locations contain different frogs on the Virtuous Mission and Operation Snake Eater passes. Hitting a frog with a weapon makes a sound and registers it. Find all 64 to earn the “It Ain’t Easy Being Green” trophy or achievement and unlock Stealth Camouflage.
Before you start: handle the early-area return correctly
Several early locations are visited twice, with different Kerotan placements on the two passes. The Operation Snake Eater return through the Virtuous Mission areas is not a repeat of the first route.

- On the initial Virtuous Mission pass, collect the frogs listed below for that pass.
- After reaching Dremuchij North during Operation Snake Eater, you temporarily have no gun. Continue to the story event at Rassvet, where your ability to shoot is restored.
- Backtrack through the early areas and collect the Operation Snake Eater frogs. Check the second-pass entries separately; do not assume a frog you already shot is the only one in that area.
Save in each area, especially before transitions that can prevent you from returning. PC Gamer warns that entering the Bolshaya Past Crevice sequence can be a point of no return. During the motorcycle chase, frogs are difficult to hit while moving, so make a manual save in chase areas and retry if you miss one.

Virtuous Mission: first pass
Dremuchij South
Check the first-pass Kerotan here before moving on. A later Operation Snake Eater visit has a different placement in this area.
Dremuchij Swampland
Find the Virtuous Mission frog in this area. There is another, differently placed Kerotan on the return route.
Dremuchij North
Collect the first-pass frog before the mission changes. The Operation Snake Eater version is a separate placement.
Operation Snake Eater: first new areas and the return route
Dolinovodno
Collect the frog on the initial Operation Snake Eater visit. You will pass through Dolinovodno again later, so check the return-route entry too.

Look for the frog during the first Operation Snake Eater visit. The later Rassvet pass has another placement.

Dremuchij East
Check this area during the backtrack after the Rassvet story event.
Rassvet: return visit
Search again after the story event. This is a different placement from the first Rassvet visit.
Dolinovodno: return
There is another frog on the return through Dolinovodno; do not count the first-visit Kerotan as covering both passes.
Dremuchij North: return
Climb the tree and look northwest toward the high ground for the Kerotan.
Dremuchij Swampland: return
Check the second-pass placement in the swamp before leaving.

Dremuchij South: return
Collect the separate Operation Snake Eater frog here as you finish the early-area backtrack.
Chyornyj Prud
Swim to the northeastern shore and dive near the tree growing out of the water along the northern boundary. The Kerotan is on the pond bed.

Continue through the main mission areas
Bolshaya Past
Find the area’s frog before proceeding into the Crevice sequence. Treat entry into the sequence as a possible point of no return and save before advancing.
Caves and Ponizovje
Follow the guide’s numbered entries through the caves and Ponizovje; check each listed area before leaving it.
Graniny Gorki
Search the listed Graniny Gorki areas before progressing to the next section of the mission.

Svyatogornyj and Sokrovenno
Continue through both named regions, using the location guide’s area entries to confirm each frog before moving on.
Krasnogorje
Check the Krasnogorje entries as you advance rather than relying on a later return.
Groznyj Grad
Collect the frogs in the listed Groznyj Grad areas. The Groznyj Grad sewers traversed during the escape after torture are the exception: Gameranx identifies them as the sole area without a Kerotan.
Motorcycle chase and final areas
Groznyj Grad, runway, and rail bridge
Frogs appear in Groznyj Grad, on the runway, and along the rail bridge during the chase. They can be hard to hit while moving; save manually in the chase sections so a miss does not force you to redo more than necessary.
Lazorevo South and Lazorevo North
Keep watching for the listed frogs as the chase continues through Lazorevo South and North.

Finish the remaining area entries in the numbered guides, checking each frog before a transition that could cut off access. The guides’ illustrations are useful for confirming the precise hiding spot where a short route description is not enough.
Confirming your count and reward
PowerPyx reports 64 total Kerotans. Hitting one with any gun produces a sound and counts it as collected. All 64 unlock the “It Ain’t Easy Being Green” trophy or achievement and Stealth Camouflage. Gameranx reports that collection carries over between playthroughs and that the pause menu shows area completion; treat those as guide-reported features if you use them to track cleanup.
