All nine FireRed and LeafGreen NPC trades
Use the table to match each requested Pokémon with its trader and location. The NPC names are included to help identify them in the trade roster.

Trades that change between FireRed and LeafGreen
Route 5: swap Nidoran
Saige’s trade exchanges one Nidoran for the opposite sex. In FireRed, bring Nidoran♂ to receive Nidoran♀; in LeafGreen, bring Nidoran♀ to receive Nidoran♂.
Route 11: swap Nidorino and Nidorina
Turner’s request also reverses by version: FireRed asks for Nidorino and gives Nidorina, while LeafGreen asks for Nidorina and gives Nidorino.

Route 18: bring the version-specific Pokémon for Lickitung
Haden’s trade is the same destination in both games, but the requested Pokémon differs. Bring Golduck in FireRed or Slowbro in LeafGreen to receive Lickitung.
Three trades are inside the Pokémon Lab
Clifton and Norma are in the Lab’s reception room; Garett is in its experimental lab area. Their exchanges are Raichu for Electrode, Venonat for Tangela, and Ponyta for Seel, respectively. These trades are listed for both versions.

Trades for Pokémon otherwise unavailable in these games
The trade roster identifies three exchanges as exclusive ways to obtain their rewards in FireRed and LeafGreen: Poliwhirl for Jynx, Spearow for Farfetch’d, and Abra for Mr. Mime. - The received Pokémon’s level matches the level of the Pokémon you offer; the reward does not have one fixed level regardless of your offering.
- Moves may vary, so do not rely on a single listed moveset as guaranteed.
- The trade roster does not systematically state when each trader becomes available, whether trades can be repeated, or whether they can be reversed. Do not assume an exchange can be undone.
