All five clues for “A Noble History” are inside Central Control in Praetor. Read or access each one, then return to the armory terminal and pass its five-question Knowledge Evaluation to open the armory and complete the quest.
How to start “A Noble History”
The quest is at Central Control in Praetor. Guides differ on its trigger: Neoseeker starts the walkthrough at the armory terminal, while Game8 says finding a clue can start it. Visiting the armory terminal first gives you a clear destination; either way, gather all five clues before taking the evaluation. (Neoseeker; Game8)
Where to find all five clues
Each clue is a readable object or terminal entry in Central Control. The locations below are described relative to the armory and the facility’s wings.
- Classified History of the Protectorate: Read the book on an office desk in the building shared with the armory and firing range.
- Internal memorandum – Department of Belief: In the yard building southeast of the armory, use the terminal. Select General Communications, then open the Department of Belief memorandum.
- Annotated Map of Arcadia’s First Colonies: Read the wall map in the northeast library area of the Central Control building.
- Sentinel Correspondence: Read the datapad in the classroom in the southeast wing.
- Early Copy of the Protectorate Acumen Test: Read the datapad in the northern room of the living quarters on the lower floor.
Knowledge Evaluation answers
Return to the armory terminal and answer its five questions. For the flagship-security question, the guides phrase the correct option differently; choose the terminal option that says access to each deck requires deck-specific credentials.

- Who oversees the Protectorate’s religious development? “The Department of Belief.”
- What criteria does the Protectorate Acumen Test use? “By Matriarch-ordained principles, built upon by the Consul’s able hand.”
