Follow Zeki’s clues—near a ruin, near an exit, near water, near barrels, and up high—then return the stones to Zeki in the Underground.
Where to find the five Flowstones
The Official Palia Wiki’s Plumehound Pilgrimage quest guide describes these locations in clue order. Use each landmark to search the mine:

Near a ruin
Look by the exit that leads toward Flooded Fortress.

Near an exit
Just after entering Pavel Mines, search among the central rocks.

Near water
Find the pond and check the rock to its left.

Near barrels
Search the U-turn tunnel. Its entrance is to the left as soon as you enter Pavel Mines.

Up high
Climb the outside walls of Pavel Mines to reach the upper mine area. Jump down twice and look beside two barrels.

These are community-wiki directions; they do not establish that the route was retested against a particular current game-client build. The quest page notes that Build 0.168.1 fixed a bug that had prevented collecting the Flowstone by the exit.
What to do after collecting them
Take all five Flowstones to Zeki in the Underground. Once he brings the Flow Battery back online, take the overcharged battery to Sifuu. The quest page says A Catalyzing Caper is automatically received when Plumehound Pilgrimage is completed.

Why these items are quest-specific
The Flowstone item page categorizes Flowstone as a quest item obtained during Plumehound Pilgrimage. The five mine landmarks correspond to the quest’s search clues, rather than to competing routes or alternative locations.
