HQ, Supernova Academy, Utopia City, and landmarks around The Hive, Swarmy Stash, Canyon Crossing, and Outpost Enclave. Two guides from 2025 both give that count, but they disagree on several directions, and the later one also lists Rangers and Fortnitemares entries that were never part of a single active roster. The locations below are a dated snapshot from those guides, not confirmed live-game data, so use them as a starting point and check your in-game map before traveling.
How to read the location data
Two guides cover this season. Gameranx published its location list on August 12, 2025, and Dot Esports updated its page on October 12, 2025. The Dot Esports update includes entries added later in the season. Where the two guides agree, the table below shows one answer. Where they differ, both are shown. Neither guide reconciles its roster with the other, so treat any single entry as “reported in this guide on this date.”

Where the two guides disagree
- Cuddle Team Leader: east of The Hive (Gameranx) versus west of The Hive (Dot Esports). Check the map pin before relying on either direction.
- Daigo and The Night Rose: Gameranx places them at an O.X.R. Base northwest of Supernova Academy; Dot Esports gives only “north of The Hive.” These may be different reference points for the same area, but the sources do not say so.
- Triggerfish: south (Gameranx) versus southwest (Dot Esports) of Swarmy Stash.
- Morgan Myst and Killswitch: Gameranx gives north and east sides of Utopia City. Dot Esports names only the city.
Specialist hires
Four characters are hireable specialists rather than sellers of the standard O.X.R. items. Both guides agree on their roles where they overlap.

Rift and O.X.R. Patch-Up
Gameranx says most of the non-specialist NPCs sell the same two items: Rift and O.X.R. Patch-Up. It describes these as purchases made with gold bars. Dot Esports instead gives military-rank requirements for the same services. The two guides do not say whether gold bars and a rank requirement both apply, so check the purchase prompt in-game.

Entries outside the core roster
The October Dot Esports update lists characters that should not be counted as part of the original 18 active NPCs. Power Rangers are marked as no longer on the island. The Fortnitemares entries below were added later and were not part of the original Gameranx list.

Epic Games announced Chapter 6 Season 4 as Shock ’N Awesome with a bug-infestation theme. Epic’s announcement page did not expose NPC roster or location details at the time it was checked, so every location above comes from the two guides, not from Epic.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
The figure of 18 appears in both guides, but it is a guide count, not a measured or official one. No source here reconciles the two updates into a single end-of-season roster. The safest reading is that the 18 core NPCs were findable at various points in the season, that some locations shifted or were described differently between August and October 2025, and that Rangers and Fortnitemares entries belong in a separate category. To confirm a character is present on the day you play, check the in-game map and vendor screens rather than relying on any dated list.
