The Whisper has seven Vex Oracles, and they unlock one after another. Destroy all seven to complete the Oracular Seeker triumph and earn the Karve of the Worm ship. Several of them sit off the obvious path, so the route below flags where you need to leave the main course, climb, drop, or backtrack.

How the Oracles unlock
You do not get all seven at once. Oracles appear in sequence, so destroy each one as it becomes available and keep going. The seventh only appears after the first six have been destroyed. Your progress through the set is what counts, so don’t expect every Oracle to be visible from the start.

Oracle-by-oracle route
The route is written from the first mission area forward. Where the walkthrough names a landmark, match it to what you see on screen.
Oracle 1: First large cavern
Solve the opening maze and drop into the cavern where Vex structures begin to appear. Head to the sloped Vex passage with a red light at its end, jump across, and enter the first large jumping-puzzle cavern. Turn left before continuing along the main route, jump past the lit Vex barrier, follow the ledge, and turn left around the corner. The bright Oracle is there. Destroy it.

Oracle 2: Above the first cavern’s exit ledge
Finish crossing the first cavern and get past the narrow walkway with slow-moving blocks that push you toward the edge. Jump to the far side and ride the rising platform. Do not turn left onto the normal route. Continue along the ledge and jump up to the higher ledge. Turn around and look up for a white-lit opening containing Vex remains and the Oracle.

Oracle 3: Ledges before the moving exit door
After the first large cavern, cross the diamond-shaped passage with moving platforms and jump between the sloping pillars. On the final platform before the moving door, turn around and look left for a Vex node. Shoot it to create a small platform, then jump across to the Oracle.
Oracle 4: Hidden in the large grassy room
After going through the Vex portal, enter the large grass-covered room with a stone orb in the center. On the left side near the orb, climb the grassy ledges and follow them around the outside until you are above the entrance. Look down into the gap, drop to the ledge, and enter the small room containing the Oracle.

Oracle 5: Below the grassy room
Drop through the dark floor crack in the grassy room into the area with a Taken Thrall. Run to the far end, go through the dark hallway, and look on the right for a low passage into the Oracle room.
Oracle 6: Hidden space below the circular ledge
After leaving the grassy room, follow the narrow ledge around the Vex structure. Before making the next long drop to the small platform on the normal route, look down to the left and drop into the hidden space. The Oracle is inside.
Oracle 7: Behind the Vex portal
Backtrack along the circular ledge toward the large room’s entrance. Facing the distant Vex portal, jump to the platforms on the cavern wall on the right and climb until you are above the portal structure. The final Oracle is behind it. Shoot it from above, or drop down to destroy it.

Rewards for finding all seven
Destroying all seven Oracles completes the Oracular Seeker triumph and grants the Karve of the Worm ship. The PC Gamer walkthrough also links the earlier Oracles to White Nail intrinsic upgrades for Whisper of the Worm and to schematic items. Check the in-game rewards screen to confirm what you received.
Don’t confuse this with the 2018 Oracle puzzle
The original 2018 Oracle sequence in The Whisper is a different puzzle. It required opening five chests during the same mission and shooting three Oracle sequences in order. It is not the same as finding the seven current Oracles described here, so don’t follow that older guide for this objective.
If an Oracle doesn’t appear
- Confirm you destroyed the earlier Oracles. They unlock in sequence, and later ones will not show up until the previous ones are gone.
- Remember that Oracle 7 is the last one and only appears after the first six are destroyed.
- If a landmark does not match what you see, follow the sequence rather than the exact description. The route comes from a PC Gamer walkthrough dated April 24, 2024, and later Destiny 2 updates may have changed details.
- Early April 2024 reports that described only two Oracles are out of date. The seven-Oracle count is the one confirmed by later coverage.
Route details come from PC Gamer’s walkthrough, with the seven-Oracle count corroborated by Shacknews’s April 15, 2024 guide. Bungie’s activities listing covers only access and availability.
