How to start The Wrath of Bloomreaper
Secondary guide coverage, not Borderlands’ official notes, describes the quest start. Confirm each step against the current build.
- Open the mission board at Belton’s Bore in Cuspid Climb and look for The Wrath of Bloomreaper.
- Accept the mission and set it as tracked so its waypoint appears on your map.
- Follow the waypoint to Tonnage Peel in Carcadia Burn.
- Continue from Tonnage Peel into The Bloom and proceed through the route to the boss arena.
If the board or waypoint does not match these descriptions, trust the active in-game waypoint over this route. The reported location is a guide to the sequence, not a fixed map coordinate.

Rewards: the nine dedicated Legendary drops
The December 2025 Borderlands update added nine Legendary items tied to this raid. Five are gear pieces and four are class mods. The official notes make only two of them explicit about difficulty-tier requirements. Where the notes say nothing, the table reads “not stated” rather than implying a guarantee.

Completion-time reward tiers
The raid chest awards one of four bonus reward tiers based on how fast you complete the fight:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
Official notes describe the higher tiers as increasingly powerful. The mission tracker shows remaining time against each tier threshold, which is the practical way to know how much margin you have. The notes do not publish the exact threshold figures, so use the tracker during your run rather than a fixed number from a guide.

Strategy: what the official notes support
Borderlands’ notes say the fight rewards movement alongside damage output, and the encounter includes a timer. Those two points are the only strategy priorities the official material establishes. No specific build, character class, or team composition is confirmed by the notes, so any recommendation beyond movement and fast damage is opinion rather than documented guidance.
Patch history and version checks
Later official patch notes report fixes for several Bloomreaper problems: the Invincible health bar staying visible in phase two, UVHM time-trial rewards being obtainable outside UVHM, and Platinum chests appearing empty even when their requirements were met. A March 2026 update also standardized dedicated loot reward chances across bosses, including Invincible encounters.
