Bunny’s record is in the Restricted Zone of Sterile Land, beside a cliff near the High-Powered Jammer mission, toward the area’s southwest edge. After collecting the journal, play Emergency Communication Records – Agent Cayden Voltia in Journal > Records > Descendants to advance Follow Their Traces.
Where to find the journal
Travel to Sterile Land’s Restricted Zone and head toward its southwest, or bottom, edge. Look along the cliff near the High-Powered Jammer mission for a small journal you can interact with. The in-game clue, as reproduced in Prima Games’ July 2024 guide, points to “the cliff close to the facility, near the High-power Jammer in the Restricted Zone.”

The target is the Restricted Zone—not another Sterile Land subsection. The location is described by Prima Games and Game8 guides published in July 2024; the current in-game position has not been confirmed against official documentation.
How to complete the quest step
- Make sure Bunny’s Follow Their Traces quest is active.
- In Sterile Land’s Restricted Zone, find and interact with the journal by the cliff near the High-Powered Jammer.
- Open Journal > Records > Descendants.
- Select and play Emergency Communication Records – Agent Cayden Voltia. Picking up the journal alone is not the final step; playing this record advances the quest.
Accessing the Restricted Zone
Prima Games’ July 2024 guide says access to the Restricted Zone follows Sharen’s Successful Infiltration quest, and lists unlocking Bunny and Sterile Land among the progression requirements. That unlock information may have changed since publication, so check your current in-game map and quest requirements if the zone is unavailable.
