Where to Find Dave the Burrito in Borderlands 4: All 15 Locations

To find Dave the Burrito in Borderlands 4, shoot all 15 hidden burrito props across Carcadia, Terminus, and Fades, then enter the secret room in Upper Dominion and approach Dave. There are five targets in each district. The hunt is not missable, so you can finish it in post-story free roam.

What you need to unlock Dave’s room

Dominion City opens during Main Mission 17, “The Falling Wall.” Carcadia is available after that mission; Fades opens after Main Mission 18, “Means of Ascent”; and Upper Dominion becomes accessible after Main Mission 20, “The Timekeeper’s Order.” The room is in Upper Dominion, so you can collect burritos as you progress or return after the story.

The burritos are hidden props, not marked objectives. Shoot each one when you find it. PowerPyx reports that the game provides no individual progress tracker, so use the numbered list below to keep your own count. The locations are not missable, and free roam lets you complete the hunt later. PowerPyx’s location guide provides the detailed route.

Carcadia District: five burritos

1. Northern building corridor: Climb the wall at the district’s northern edge to enter the building. At the end of the corridor, check the floor behind a bench beside an ECHO Log. Mark the ECHO Log as a navigation landmark if you need help returning.
2. Mosmellow Retreat roof: Look on the front roof for a metal piece projecting from the wall. The burrito is on it.
3. Kratch nest in the yellow acidic-water area: Go to the bottom of the area and climb the metal platform in front of the Kratch nest. At the top, look inside a green hive.
4. House in the acidic-water area: At the house’s northeast corner, the burrito is on boxes on a small balcony near the bottom. Jump to the boxes using the metal pipe sticking out of the ground.
5. Stall by the Propaganda Speaker and ECHO Log: In the upstairs area, find the green-lit stall near two arguing NPCs. Circle around its left side to see the burrito tucked behind it.

Terminus District: five burritos

6. Whimsy Willies in the Food Court safehouse: From the fast-travel point, climb the yellow ledge directly above you. Look right for the purple neon sign and check the right counter inside the food shop.
7. Resting area near a “Keep Out” exit: In the large building, find the blue-lit area with mattresses. The burrito is on the toilet in the corner behind them.
8. 24h Get the Funk Out laundromat: Check the washing machine behind the counter. The Tempered Manufactorium named location is a useful map landmark.
9. Food shop reached from Frantic Scrawl: Fast-travel to Frantic Scrawl. Take the stairs on the left (east) into a tunnel, then take the first left and the next right. The burrito is on the shop’s top shelf.
10. Mr. Cucur Bils market stall: Southwest of Frantic Scrawl, check the ground beneath the westernmost pumpkin shelf, near the largest pumpkin.

Fades District: five burritos

11. Zadra’s Lab stairs: Cross the open area and look behind the staircase straight ahead. The burrito sits on a green box below the stairs, near the “Vault Hunter’s Guide to Kairos” collectible.
12. Ripper camp entrance in the swamp: Look up at the corpse hanging from strings over the entrance. The burrito rests in its upturned hand.
13. Poison-ivy storage shack: Follow the boardwalk buildings along the northern swamp edge. From the nearby ECHO Log, look east for a small shack draped in poison ivy. The burrito is beneath the wooden pallet leaning against the shack.
14. Raised flower bed near an ECHO Log: Use the ECHO Log as a landmark, then search the raised bed beside the tree. Foliage conceals the burrito.
15. Rooftop swimming pool: On the roof with the swimming pool, check the pallet behind the boombox beside the pool.

How to reach Dave after collecting all 15

1. Travel to Upper Dominion, available after Main Mission 20, “The Timekeeper’s Order.”
2. Use the northern Vault Symbol as your landmark.
3. Glide through the small waterfall behind the symbol, then take the newly opened route opposite it.
4. Approach the golden, spinning Dave in the room. That triggers the “Guac is Extra” trophy or achievement.
