Dead Drop in Sniper Elite: Resistance has three weapon workbenches: a rifle bench in an upper-floor armory at the western monastery, a pistol bench in the underground tunnel beside the library, and an SMG/secondary bench in the Citadel yard. Each unlocks a different weapon upgrade. Use the weapon type—not a bench number—to tell the locations apart, since walkthroughs number them differently.
Dead Drop workbench locations at a glance
| Weapon class | Area and access | Door or gate | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rifle | Western monastery building; reach the upper-floor armory | The armory door may require lockpicking | Rifle Marksmanship Pack |
| Pistol | Underground tunnel beside the library | Open the tunnel gate with lockpicking or bolt cutters | Pistol Carbine Kit |
| SMG/secondary | Citadel yard; follow the left side from the main entrance toward the garden/courtyard gates | Unlock the gate to enter the bench area | Secondary Control Upgrade |
Rifle workbench: western monastery armory
Head to the monastery building on the western edge of the area and get to its second floor. Guides describe different ways up: GameSpot points to crates, while Prima Games describes stairs at the back of the building. Once upstairs, enter the armory; its door may need to be lockpicked. The bench grants the Rifle Marksmanship Pack. GameSpot and Prima Games agree on the upper-floor armory location.

Pistol workbench: tunnel beside the library
Look for the underground tunnel next to the library. One route approaches from an exterior path, where a gate can be opened with lockpicking or bolt cutters; the tunnel can also be entered from inside the library. Find the bench underground to collect the Pistol Carbine Kit. GameSpot and Prima Games describe the same general location, with alternate access details.
SMG/secondary workbench: Citadel yard
Enter the Citadel and check the left side of the yard from the main entrance. Circle toward the garden or courtyard gates and unlock a gate to reach the workbench area. The reward is the Secondary Control Upgrade. The location is also described in GameSpot and Prima Games.

How to check progress or return for a missed bench
Workbenches do not appear as map markers. Check the Service Record menu to see which ones you have found. If you finish the mission without collecting one, Push Square says the campaign tracks 22 workbenches across eight missions, while PowerPyx notes that Dead Drop collectibles can be revisited through Mission Select, including after completing the main objectives and before exfiltrating.
The bench rewards unlock attachments for the rifle, secondary weapon, or pistol inventory slots. Since there is no official Rebellion workbench map in the sources cited here, use the area landmarks and weapon class rather than relying on a numbered list.
