Dirt Guy is in a cave in the Dwarven Mines, at about 43, 108, 175. The cave entrance is listed at 15, 110, 173—those are different locations, so don’t mistake the entrance coordinates for the NPC’s position.
How to reach Dirt Guy
- Go to the Lower Royal Mines station.
- Turn right and follow the tracks until they split.
- Take the left track and enter the cave.
- Look toward the far left of the cave for Dirt Guy.

Coordinates and landmarks
| Location | Coordinates | How to use them |
|---|---|---|
| Dirt Guy | 43, 108, 175 | Practical target coordinates for the NPC. Community listings differ by one block on Z, giving 174 or 175. Indexed Hypixel Wiki entry; community wiki; 2021 player report |
| Cave entrance | 15, 110, 173 | Use these to locate the entrance, not the NPC. Indexed Hypixel Wiki entry |
A 2021 player report describes Dirt Guy as being behind a tall rock and records his line as “Me like dirt.” Treat that as a visual clue from an older report, not a guarantee that the cave layout has stayed unchanged. Player report
Why you may not find him
The official Hypixel Wiki page now redirects to a forum announcement that the official wiki ended in July 2026. Its indexed result remains a useful coordinate reference, but the route and coordinates are best read alongside community information and player reports. Indexed Hypixel Wiki entry; community wiki

Check that you are looking for the NPC inside the cave rather than standing at its entrance. The route above was reported in October 2024, so verify the track split and cave landmarks in game if they have changed since then. Hypixel forum route
What happens if you show him an InfiniDirt Wand?
The community wiki reports that showing Dirt Guy an InfiniDirt Wand earns a Precious. The indexed official-wiki dialogue ties the “PRECIOUS!” response to the wand while Great Spook is active, so the interaction should not be assumed to work at all times. Community wiki; indexed Hypixel Wiki entry
