In early Qinghe, a secondary game guide (updated November 27, 2025) reports five sources for Dragon Keys: first clears of three Outposts, the Skill Theft: Unearned Lesson exploration quest near Moonveil Mountain, and Solo Mode Breakthrough Level 2. You spend keys at Dragon Pillars to open certain sanctums and Skill Theft routes. Treat the list as the early Qinghe picture, not a complete map of the game.
What a Dragon Key does
- The guide also calls these items Loong Keys. Both names appear in the game’s reward text, so search either one in the Outpost panel.
- A key is consumed. Each Dragon Pillar interaction spends one.
- Keys open two kinds of content: key-gated sanctums and Skill Theft routes. Section 6 lists the sanctums.
The five early Qinghe key sources
| Source | Where it is | How you get the key |
|---|---|---|
| Bloomveil Monastery | Qinghe, near Bodhi Sea | Stronghold chest, first clear |
| Gourmand’s Grove | Qinghe, near Jadebrook Mountain | Stronghold chest, first clear |
| Tiger Fort | Southwest Qinghe | Stronghold chest, first clear |
| Skill Theft: Unearned Lesson | Moonveil Mountain, south of Moonveil Peak Boundary Stone | Quest reward on completion |
| Solo Mode Breakthrough Level 2 | Solo Mode progression | Breakthrough reward |
Outposts: clear first, then loot the chest
All three Outposts give their key on the first clear, not on every visit. Open the Outpost’s detail panel before you commit the time and look for “Dragon Key” or “Loong Key” listed among the rewards. If the key is not listed there, the guide’s route does not apply to that Outpost in your version of the game.
The key sits in the stronghold chest, so you must open it after the clear. The guide warns that leaving the chest unlooted can forfeit the key.
Skill Theft: Unearned Lesson
This exploration quest is the non-combat source. It is located south of Moonveil Peak Boundary Stone in Moonveil Mountain. The guide also lists it under the name Rightful Acquisition. The detailed guide reports a level 8 requirement to start and one key on completion.

Solo Mode Breakthrough Level 2
The guide reports that this Breakthrough grants one Dragon Key. The Breakthrough raises your world level and character cap from 15 to 20, so you need to reach the level 15 cap before it becomes available. Claim the reward when the game makes it eligible.
Key-gated sanctums and where they sit
The guide names five sanctums and hideouts that take a Dragon Key. Each entry below is a Dragon Pillar location. The role column reflects the guide’s own description and is not official balance data.

| Sanctum | Location | Type and role (per the guide) |
|---|---|---|
| Panacea Fan | Near the Northern Bamboo Grave Boundary Stone | Dragon Pillar sanctum; healing and sustain |
| Heavenquake Spear | Wildsmane Ranch, across the river from General’s Shrine | Dragon Pillar sanctum; reach and crowd control |
| Inkwell Fan | Buddha Village, northwest edge of Sundara Land | Dragon Pillar hideout; ranged or hybrid |
| Infernal Twinblades | Southern Moonveil Mountain, around Crimson Cliff and Starfall Spring | Dragon Pillar cave entrance; damage-oriented |
| Strategic Sword | South Qinghe, near Encircling Lake | Dragon Pillar sanctum; damage-oriented |
Choose the sanctum by the combat role you want, and by whether you can get that Martial Art another way. A sanctum you can reach later through another route is a weaker use of a scarce key.

How far this list can be trusted
- The mechanics above come from one detailed secondary guide, dated November 27, 2025. Two other guide pages corroborate the named Outposts and the quest route, but we could not confirm their content directly.
- No official game documentation on key sources was located, so every mechanic here is guide-reported.
- The list covers early Qinghe only. Later regions, later patches and localized versions may change quest labels, reward presentation or key counts, and this article does not claim a game-wide total.
- Your own reward panels and menus are the final check, especially if your game version is newer than the guide.
