3. Search the nearby underground routes

4. Bring a suitable pickaxe
The September 2026 OrbisHytale guide publishes a gathering-power table and says higher gathering power means fewer hits to mine a block. 5. Treat alternate loot as a bonus route

Several ore searches do not have one consistent answer across the available guides. Cobalt is the clearest example: Whisperfrost appears repeatedly, while other reports add Howling Sands or coastal areas. Iron, gold, and silver also have varying region or terrain descriptions. If a spot is empty, try another reported terrain type or region instead of assuming the ore must be deeper.
