Battle Wills in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance come from three places: targeted Monster Hunts, Stimen Vaults, and the Will Wish and Will Fragment exchange. A Battle Will is not the usable Battle Imagine, though. You still have to craft the Imagine with Mason in Asterleeds. The routes below are taken from community guides, and the game changes often, so check the in-game menus before you spend currency or keys.
Where the Will comes from
The guides describe four acquisition routes and one secondary market. Only the Monster Hunt route lets you go after a specific Will on purpose. The others give you Wills, fragments, or crafting materials with less control over the result.
Monster Hunts (the targeted route)
Prydwen’s Battle Imagine guide says to find the Elite or Boss linked to the Will you want, defeat it, and open its reward chest with the matching Elite or Boss Loot Key. That enemy’s reward pool can include its corresponding Will, Imagine materials, and Will Fragments. This is the only route the guide ties to one named Will, which makes it the one to use when you need a particular Imagine.
Stimen Vaults
The same guide describes Stimen Vault floor rewards that can include Wills, Will Fragments, Imagine materials, and selector boxes. The guide says rarity and drop chances vary by floor, and higher-rarity rewards are more likely on boss floors. Those floor-level details are reported by the guide and can change with patches, so treat them as a rough guide rather than a fixed rate.

Will Wish (gacha)
Prydwen’s Gacha Guide says Mason in Asterleeds gives access to Will Wish and describes the in-game currency used for it. It also separates Wills obtained from gacha pulls from the Imagine itself. The guide was last updated on 9 October 2025, and it does not confirm current banner contents or currency sources. Pulls are random, so you cannot choose a specific Will this way.
Battle Will Exchange (Will Fragments)
The same gacha guide describes exchanging Will Fragments for Wills, with different costs for different rarity categories. Open the Exchange menu to see the current cost and which items are eligible, because the guide’s values may be out of date.
Trading Center
Guides list the Trading Center as another possible source for some Wills. Whether a given Will is listed depends on the live market at the time you check. None of the guides confirm current listings.

A Will is not the Imagine
Getting the Will is only the first step. Prydwen’s guide and GamesFuze both say the usable Battle Imagine is crafted, not handed out directly. Crafting works like this:
Recommended Free Tools
- Go to the Imagine Research area in Asterleeds and talk to Mason.
- Bring the Will that matches the Imagine you want.
- Bring the Battle Imagine materials that match its rarity.
- Bring the common enemy drops the recipe requires, as listed in the guide.
If Mason rejects the craft, check that the Will matches the Imagine and that the materials are the right rarity. The guides do not list other failure causes.

Practical plan
- If you need one specific Will, start with the Monster Hunt for its linked Elite or Boss and keep the Loot Key for that enemy.
- If you are collecting materials in general, run Stimen Vaults, since each floor can drop several reward types.
- If you are willing to accept a random Will, Will Wish is the main option, but check the current banner and currency cost first.
- Once you have fragments, check the Exchange menu before using them, because costs by rarity can change.
