The Placid Waters Wellnitarium is in southwestern Praetor, and it contains items for both the Mental Refreshment objectives and Weylon Mealing’s escape quest. The route below separates those quest materials from optional Pitchball cards, with the areas grouped in the order you encounter them: entry and reception, Observational Oversight, then Special Ministrations.
Before you enter: the route and the two quests
The Wellnitarium walkthroughs describe entry through either the front entrance or a vent, with the initial area leading toward an elevator. Once inside, the facility’s key item areas are the entry hall, Observational Oversight, and Special Ministrations. The Mental Refreshment materials and Weylon Mealing’s escape objectives overlap geographically, but they are separate quest items.
For Weylon’s quest, Escape from Placid Waters starts by speaking with Millie Mealing after Fiends in High Places. At reception, Designated Subject Greeter Yackley and the Intake Evaluation machine are part of the route. A walkthrough reports that any response passes the evaluation because its passing score is zero; afterward, a Low-Privilege Priority Pass near reception can be used to reach the elevator.

Supplemental methodology information
Just after entering, before the hallway that sprays Mental Refreshment gas, look for a central table between the two stairways. A walkthrough places the supplemental methodology information there; it says either set of stairs will take you to the table.

Low-Privilege Priority Pass
After completing the Intake Evaluation, check near reception for the Low-Privilege Priority Pass. The walkthrough describes using it to access the elevator and continue into the facility.
Commemorative Pitchball for Weylon
Weylon asks you to retrieve his commemorative Pitchball as part of Escape from Placid Waters. A guide places it in the main examination room. This is a quest objective, not one of the Mental Refreshment information pieces.
Find the pharmacology material and Reprioritin
The reported route to the pharmacology sample runs through the lecture hall. The walkthrough advises getting access, then asking Facilitator Tilden for a Mid-Privilege Priority Pass and using the Medicament Refreshment Mech. The sample is reported on a table. A vial of Reprioritin is also described along this route.
Access can depend on your character’s abilities and the route you choose: the guide notes that a vent through nearby toilets may be needed if you do not have the required perks or access. Treat this as a walkthrough route rather than a guaranteed path for every character build.

Collect the three supplementary information pieces

Opening a cell can also reveal information that the Sovereign underwent Mental Refreshment. This is additional intel; the available walkthrough does not establish that it is required to complete the quest.

At the east end of Observational Oversight, find the room containing the Full-Privilege Access Pass. The pharmacology information is reported on a desk beside monitors in that room. The pass also opens up routes relevant to Weylon’s kitchen objective and the descent to Special Ministrations.

Lathe of Particularity schematics
The schematics are associated with Head Refresher Gould. One reported approach is to persuade him: use the controls at the glass panel to release Reprioritin gas, then pass a sequence of checks listed by the walkthrough as Medical 4, Engineering 7, Observation 11, Speech 11 twice, and Medical or Science checks at 7. If successful, enter Gould’s office and look behind a poster for the schematics. These thresholds come from a secondary guide and may depend on the current game build or character state.
The alternate route is to kill Gould, take his safe key, and recover the schematics from the safe. The guide presents persuasion and combat as alternatives.

Gould’s audio cartridge
The audio cartridge is not described as being on Gould. Look in the security station near the Full-Privilege Access Pass, on a desk in a room south of his location. The walkthrough says you can take it stealthily or deal with the guard first.

After finding Weylon in a cell along the reception-and-elevator route, he asks you to unseal the kitchen and retrieve his commemorative Pitchball before escaping. The guides describe more than one way to proceed: a Full-Privilege Pass can provide access, while another reported route uses Hack 7 to deactivate a kitchen sentry. An optional Speech 7 dialogue check is also reported.
The exact kitchen route can vary with your access and skill options, so do not treat the Hack check or the pass as the sole mandatory solution. Once you have the Pitchball and have opened the kitchen route, return to Weylon to continue his escape quest.

Reported quest rewards
Guide reward lists are not fully consistent and may depend on quest state. One walkthrough reports that Escape from Placid Waters can award an Advanced Decryption Key, 1,500 Bits, a Mentally Refreshed perk, and a Shock Assault Rifle. Another reports the following for the Mental Modulators quest: 850 Bits, an Adreno Bubble Up! Ultra Premium recipe, Sonic Emotion disruptors and their recipe, an Explosive Autospray SMG, and an Extra Primer Port. Treat these as reported outcomes rather than guaranteed rewards for every playthrough.
