The route below follows the chapter from start to finish and uses landmarks and actions rather than map coordinates, because the sources that document this chapter describe locations in words and do not publish coordinates. The chapter also includes a separate collectible toy that does not count toward the nine.
Chapter 17 at a glance
The table lists the nine numbered secrets in the order you reach them on the route. Two of them sit in the temple approach, and the guides name those two differently, so each row identifies its secret by reward and location rather than by number.

Across the chapter, the rewards add up to two Rubies, one Wraithstone, one Codex entry, one weapon skin, and gold. The collectible toy is a separate item covered below.
Route through the nine secrets
1. Ruby and gold before the first portal
Defeat the enemies at the first gate. Before you enter the green portal, turn right toward the bridge and look up for a green statue. Use a shield throw and jump to reach the upper ledge, where the Ruby and gold are. Gameranx places this secret before the first gate, and PowerPyx describes the same statue-and-bridge approach.

2. Codex room in the first sunken shipwreck
Enter the first portal and swim to the sunken shipwreck, collecting the armor pickups as you follow them. Before you leave the wreck, turn right through a doorway to reach the secret room holding the Temple of Lomarith Codex entry. This is the first of the three underwater secrets for Water Logged.
3. Marsh tunnel after the first Sentinel Shrine
After the Codex area and the first Sentinel Shrine, reach the marsh and enter the water. Dive and take the underwater tunnel into the alcove. It holds gold and an extra-life (Life Sigil) reward and is the second underwater secret.

4. Breakable wall beside the second gate
After the leader encounter, look beside the second gate for a breakable wall. Use Shield Charge to break through into the small cave, then collect the gold chest inside.
5. Breakable wall before the ring launcher
At the top of the shipwreck, stop before using the ring launcher. Turn around and use Shield Charge on the blue-marked breakable wall to reach the secret and its gold. PowerPyx places this route in the shipwreck after the next ring area, so use the wall and the ring launcher as your sequence markers.

6. Gold chest behind the shipwreck gate
After you pass through the third portal to the temple outskirts, clear the enemies. The shipwreck ahead has a blue weak wall. Break through it, align the eye-shaped mechanism, and throw the shield through it to open the gate to a gold chest.
7. Underwater weapon skin on the far left
In the lower, far-left part of the same temple outskirts area, swim through the underwater tunnel to collect the weapon skin. This is the third underwater secret for Water Logged. PowerPyx lists its reward as the Reverent Super Shotgun skin.

8. Wraithstone in the optional shipwreck maze
To the left of the final objective, enter the optional shipwreck and follow its maze to the Wraithstone. The Secret Key used in step 9 is also in this shipwreck area. Gameranx places the key above the Wraithstone reward, while PowerPyx lists the key first in its chronological route and then has you jump down into the ship for the Wraithstone. Either order works, as long as you collect both before leaving the shipwreck.
9. Locked door beside the Sentinel Shrine
Take the Secret Key from the shipwreck. At the Sentinel Shrine near the final objective, open the locked door to its left. Inside are the last secret and the second Ruby. PowerPyx also notes gold behind barrels nearby, but it is not part of the secret itself.

The collectible toy (not one of the nine)
The Cacodemon Hybrid toy is a separate collectible and does not count toward the nine secrets. It is reached through a puzzle inside the large shipwreck after the second gate:
- After entering the second gate and climbing into the large shipwreck, find the movable crate marked in blue. Do not break the marked weak wall.
- Move the crate.
- Return outside.
- Align the eye-shaped metal with the object on top of the crate.
- Throw the shield while the eye is aligned to reveal the Cacodemon Hybrid toy.
Water Logged and Swashbuckler challenges
Water Logged asks you to find three underwater secrets: the Codex room in the first shipwreck (step 2), the marsh tunnel (step 3), and the underwater weapon skin on the far left (step 7). PowerPyx lists the reward as the Reverent Super Shotgun skin.
Swashbuckler asks you to collect every Ruby and Wraithstone in the chapter. That means the Ruby on the first ledge (step 1), the Wraithstone in the optional shipwreck (step 8), and the second Ruby behind the locked door (step 9).
Where the guides differ
Gameranx and PowerPyx agree on the nine secrets and on the main landmarks. They differ on the numbering of the two temple-approach secrets: Gameranx calls the gold chest Secret 6 and the underwater skin Secret 7, while PowerPyx reverses them. Identify these two by reward and location, not by number. The guides also disagree on whether the Secret Key or the Wraithstone is picked up first, so collect both in the shipwreck before moving on.
