During Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4, Shock ’N Awesome, Exotic weapons could be obtained from O.X.R. Bunkers, O.X.R. Drop Pods, Rift Pods, and the Queen. These are historical routes, not current live-game instructions: Epic says the season ended on November 1, 2025, Eastern Time. Epic’s season announcement dates its start to August 7, 2025, and its end to November 1, 2025, Eastern Time.
How each Exotic route worked
Insider Gaming’s August 13, 2025 guide described four ways to find the season’s Exotics. Bunkers and Drop Pods had O.X.R. rank requirements; the Queen offered a location-specific reward; Rift Pods were a late-match opportunity. The guide’s 11-weapon list and route details are specific to Season 4.

|---|---|---|
| O.X.R. Bunkers | Reach Rank A to access them, according to Insider Gaming’s August 13, 2025 guide. | Random Exotic loot; the guide names four weapons available through bunkers. |
| O.X.R. Drop Pods | Reach Rank S+, according to the same guide. | Opening a pod provided one of three listed weapons. |
| Queen | Defeat her at the relevant location. The guide describes the encounter as contested and available once per match. | A guaranteed Exotic in the guide’s account; its type depended on where she was defeated. |
| Rift Pods | Look for one late in a match; the guide does not state a specific rank requirement. | The guide lists one weapon from this route. |
These mechanics and route assignments come from Insider Gaming’s August 13, 2025 guide. It does not establish that these routes or weapons remain available in the game today.
All 11 weapons and where the guide placed them
Insider Gaming counted 11 Exotic weapons in its August 2025 guide. Use this as a season-specific route list, not a current loot map.

What to know before pursuing a route
Build O.X.R. rank for Bunkers or Drop Pods
The guide recommends destroying Bug Nests and Hive Stashes and eliminating players to earn O.X.R. experience. It sets Rank A as the bunker access threshold and Rank S+ as the Drop Pod threshold. Bunker rewards were random, while Drop Pods were tied to the three named weapons in the list.
Choose the Queen location for the weapon you want
The Queen route was not interchangeable: The Hive, Ranger’s Ruin, and Demon’s Debris each corresponded to a different listed weapon. The guide describes the reward as guaranteed on defeat, but also notes that the encounter was contested and limited to once per match.

Treat Rift Pods as a late-match opportunity
The guide identifies the Mythic Leadspitter 3000 as the Rift Pod weapon and says Rift Pods appeared late in matches. It does not provide a more precise spawn time or location, so those details should not be assumed.
These are not NPC shop locations
The routes above refer to loot and encounters, not NPC purchases. Gameranx’s August 12, 2025 NPC list describes NPC positions and services and says that, except for hireable characters, NPCs had the same items for sale; it does not list these Exotic weapons as NPC sales. Gameranx’s Chapter 6 Season 4 NPC locations guide is useful for NPC information, but it is not evidence that these Exotics could be bought from them.

Season dates
Epic’s official announcement says Chapter 6 Season 4, titled Shock ’N Awesome, started August 7, 2025, and ended November 1, 2025, Eastern Time. Its season setting included the O.X.R. defense force and locations such as The Hive, O.X.R. HQ, and Ranger’s Ruin. Consequently, the routes and item locations in this guide describe that past season rather than a currently active season.
