Eyeless Minnows in Palia are caught in cave water. Fish for them without bait, at any time of day and in any weather. The Palia Database lists Bahari Bay Cave and the Water Temple as catch sites, while the Official Palia Wiki search result names caves in Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay, plus The Underground. The two sources do not match exactly, so the sections below explain which location is named by which source.
Where to catch Eyeless Minnows
Start with Bahari Bay Cave. It is the one location that appears in the Palia Database entry and is also named in the Official Palia Wiki result. If it does not produce the fish, try the other sites listed in the table below.

The Water Temple and The Underground are not listed as the same place. Do not assume one name stands in for the other when you search. The wiki listing was seen only as a search snippet, because the full page could not be opened on 2026-10-08. The database page was the only full location list available on that date.

- Bait: None. The wiki snippet says the fish is attracted to no bait, and the database lists no bait.
- Time of day: Any time, according to both sources that state a time requirement.
- Weather: Any weather, according to the Palia Database page.

- Try again at a different time of day or in different weather. Both are listed as unrestricted, so a missed catch is more likely a location problem.
- Move to the Water Temple, then to the caves in Kilima Valley, and then to The Underground. Each is listed in at least one source.
- Check the fishing indicator in the game interface when you are at a site. If it does not show an Eyeless Minnow, move on rather than repeating the same spot.
Fishing in Palia is a skill used to catch fish for cooking, collecting, and selling, according to the Official Palia Wiki’s Fishing page. That page could not be opened on 2026-10-08, so the description is taken from its search snippet.
