In Sulani, look along neighborhood shorelines for a small post marked with a fishing icon, then select it and choose Go Fishing. Ponds are another option. For deep-ocean fishing, owners of The Sims 4 Island Living can use an Outrigger Canoe.
How to find ordinary fishing spots
EA says fishing spots appear around neighborhoods and are marked by a small post with a fishing icon. In Sulani, check along the shorelines in its neighborhoods for those markers. Select a post and choose Go Fishing.
EA does not publish coordinates or a complete map of Sulani’s ordinary fishing posts, so there is no supported spot-by-spot location list. Ponds also let Sims fish, offering an alternative to a shoreline marker. EA’s Fishing skill guide covers markers and ponds.
Where is the Sulani Fishing Festival?
The festival takes place at the fishing pier in Ohan’Ali Town, every Saturday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., according to EA’s guide. This identifies the festival venue; it does not mean the pier is Sulani’s only place to fish.

How to fish in deep ocean
If you own The Sims 4 Island Living, use an Outrigger Canoe to fish in deep ocean. EA describes exploring fishing coves from an outrigger in its Island Living launch feature.
Finding a particular fish
Fishing spots can contain different types of fish. If you are looking for a specific or rarer catch, try more than one location rather than repeatedly using the same post; EA notes that rarer catches may require trying different spots.

If a marked spot does not work
An EA Forums report about signed fishing spots in Sulani displays a Fixed status. The thread documents an earlier issue and mentions canoe fishing as a workaround, but it does not establish how every current game version or platform behaves. If a post fails to offer fishing, try another marker, a pond, or—if you own Island Living—the canoe. See the EA Forums report for historical context.
