The Dark Room is on the second floor of Ghost Revelry Hall: go from the stage up to the balcony, follow the corridor to its final door, then use the singing and lantern-lit balcony as confirmation. Inside, defeat the Faceless and speak to the woman in the corner to continue toward the Human Market.
How to reach the Dark Room
The Dark Room search opens after you finish the enemy waves in Ghost Revelry Hall and speak with the woman onstage. You do not need to return to the sewer; the door is upstairs inside the hall.

- After the waves are defeated, speak with the woman onstage.
- From the stage, take a staircase to the second-floor balcony.
- Follow the upper corridor to its last door.
- Look for the lantern-lit balcony and listen for singing to confirm you have the right entrance. Walkthrough directions differ on whether the staircase is to the left or right when facing the stage, so use the balcony and final-door landmarks rather than a fixed direction.
- Enter the room to begin the encounter with the Faceless.
- After the fight, speak with the woman in the corner, then continue toward the Human Market.
What to expect inside
The Faceless is described by walkthroughs as fast, and Bleed is a reported danger. Deflection is one suggested response, but it is an option rather than a required mechanic; respond carefully to her attacks and use the combat approach that works for your character.
Quest context
The route is part of the Unbound Cavern campaign, reached during the Accident main quest in Chapter 2: Universal Furnace. Game8 reports a level 52 unlock requirement, but that requirement is not independently confirmed by official game documentation. For the full approach to the hall from the Ash Pit, including the sewer route, disciple rescue, key, red lanterns and waves inside, see Game8’s Unbound Cavern walkthrough. The room landmarks and encounter progression are also covered by All Things How’s Dark Room guide.
